  • 멀티미디어 기술의 급격한 발전으로 인해 대부분의 전송되는 파일들은 다양한 멀티미디어 데이터를 포함하고 있다. 이러한 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송할 때 송수신자의 익명성 보장은 최근 PET기술의 급격한 관심과 더불어 상당히 큰 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 그러므로 송수신자의 익명성을 보장하는 기술들에 관한 최근 연구 동향을 살펴보는 일은 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송 시 송수신자의 익명성을 보장하는 최근 기술 및 현황들을 Mix-net 기술을 중심으로 살펴본다.

The Analysis of Mix & Match Visual Image of One-Point Graphic Appeared in T-shirt (티셔츠 원 포인트 그래픽에 나타난 Mix & Match 시각 이미지 분석)

  • Mix & Match Visual Image, appearing in T-shirt one-point graphics, is a new visual image emerged as a result of several trends: development of cutting-edge machinery and computer programs, various needs of consumers, and an international trend of fusion concept. Thus, a concrete research of Mix & Match Visual Images is demanding. This paper studies one-point graphic, which appeared in the SamsungDesignNet, Interfashion Planning, and firstviewkorea, with a focus on apparel T-shirt of women's wear and casual wear from 2001 to 2004. The study shows that the most preferred independent visual image in Mix & Match Visual Images is a typography, and next is in the order of marks, symbols, geometric diagrams and abstract shapes, animals and plants, characters, materials, and collages. As Mix & Match of independent visual images was mainly combined typography with other independent visual images, we need to develop more Mix & Match Visual Images using various independent visual images's mix and match. Then, T-shirt will be one of the most representative items in Korean fashion trend that enable consumers to express their characters, escaping from the old-fashioned concept that T-shirt is just a T-shirt.

익명 통신로에 관한 최근 연구 동향

  • 익명 통신로는 사용자가 자신의 정보를 임의의 통신로에 보내었을 경우에 제 3자가 사용자와 사용자가 보낸 메시지의 대응관계를 알 수 없도록 하는 기술이다. 이러한 익명 통신로의 기술은 전자선거, 전자화폐, 전자우편 등의 프라이버시의 기능을 제공해야 하는 분야에서 널리 활용된다. 본 논문에서는 익명 통신로에 관한 최신 연구 흐름을 Mix-net과 DC(Dining Cryptographers)-net 중심으로 살펴본다. 또한 향후 연구 방향에 대해서 소개한다.

  • Concrete mix proportioning is a process of selecting the right combination of many materials such as cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, water, and admixtures to make concrete satisfying for specification and cost. In determining proportioning of concrete mixes, code information, specification, and the experience of experts are needed. However, all factors regarding mix proportioning factor cannot be considered. Therefore, the final acceptance depends on concrete quality control test results. The proportioning of concrete mixes and the adjustments are somewhat complicated, time-consuming, and uncertain tasks. In this paper, as a tool to predict the factor of the proportioning of concrete mixes, an artificial neural network is used. To consider the varieties of material properties, the standard mixed table of two companies of ready mixed concrete are used. The results show that neural net works is successfully applied to the prediction of concrete mix proportioning factor.

  • A heterogeneous network (HetNet) is a network topology composed by deploying multiple HetNets under the coverage of macro cells (MCs). It can improve network throughput, extend cell coverage, and offload network traffic; for example, the network traffic of a 5G mobile communications network. A HetNet involves a mix of radio technologies and various cell types working together seamlessly. In a HetNet, coordination between MCs and small cells (SCs) has a positive impact on the performance of the networks contained within, and consequently on the overall user experience. Therefore, to improve user-perceived service quality, HetNets require high-efficiency network protocols and enhanced radio technologies. In this paper, we introduce a 5G HetNet comprised of MCs and both fixed and mobile SCs (mSCs). The featured mSCs can be mounted on a car, bus, or train and have different characteristics to fixed SCs (fSCs). In this paper, we address the technical challenges related to mSCs. In addition, we analyze the network performance under two HetNet scenarios-MCs and fSCs, and MCs and mSCs.

Appropriate Size of a Net Zero-Energy Multi-Family Housing using PV system (PV시스템 적용 공동주택의 에너지 제로화를 위한 적정 건축-규모 검토)

  • Energy consumption in building sector in South Korea is about 20~30%. Thus, net zero energy building became a social issue to reduce national $CO_2$ emission and meet the national trend of climate mitigation. This study evaluates the appropriate size of net zero energy apartment building. PV(Photovoltaic) system is considered as an applicable renewable energy source for apartment buildings. Total energy consumption including private and public use is considered as a baseline. Energy evaluating method for apartment by Korean building code is slightly modified to reflect energy consumption for public use. Annual electricity generation is evaluated by using RETScreen program. The efficiency of PV panel is 13.5%. The results show the PV system cannot afford meet the energy demand in baseline apartment building. PV system only can fully supply energy for a residential unit. The results indicate that the policy to generalize zero residential buildings of South Korea, may only works in detached house sector. In order to establish net zero energy apartment, advanced energy mix should be considered.

The Effect of EU-ETS Introduction on the Determinants of Electricity Net Export Connected Power Grid in Europe (유럽의 탄소배출권 거래시장 도입에 따른 연결계통국가들의 전력 순수출 결정요인 변화 분석)

  • This study examines the determinants of net export of electricity among 30 European countries sharing electricity grid during the period of 1990~2014 by separating the sample period before and after 2005 in which ETS was introduced in Europe. The empirical method used in this study is generalize least squared one considering both heterogeneous and serial correlation in the balanced panel data. According to the empirical results, after 2005 introducing the ETS, holing energy resources, concentrating only on few electricity generation resources, and nuclear electricity generation had played more important role in net export of electricity, while renewable energy had negative effect on net export of electricity and coal and gas generation have no effect on net export after introduction of ETS in Europe probably because of high environmental cost. The policy implication of the results would be that reconsidering each country's optimal generation mix strategy and its role in case freely trading electricity.

  • Long Term Evolution (LTE) - Advanced has developed Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) that consists of a mix of macrocells and low-power nodes such as picocells to improve the system performance. Also, to encourage data offloading in HetNet, Cell Range Expansion (CRE) have been introduced. In this paper, we propose a cell selection scheme based on Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) for optimal offloading effect. And we manage the interference for user located in cell range expanded region using Almost Blank Subframe (ABS) with flexible ABS ratio to improve the spectrum efficiency in time domain. Simulation results show that proposed scheme can improve spectrum efficiency of macrocell and picocell user. Eventually, proposed scheme can imporve overall user performance.

Experimental Study on the Shrinkage Properties and Cracking Potential of High Strength Concrete Containing Industrial By-Products for Nuclear Power Plant Concrete

  • In Korea, attempts have been made to develop high strength concrete for the safety and design life improvement of nuclear power plants. In this study, the cracking potentials of nuclear power plant-high strength concretes (NPP-HSCs) containing industrial by-products with W/B 0.34 and W/B 0.28, which are being reviewed for their application in the construction of containment structures, were evaluated through autogenous shrinkage, unrestrained drying shrinkage, and restrained drying shrinkage experiments. The cracking potentials of the NPP-HSCs with W/B 0.34 and W/B 0.28 were in the order of 0.34FA25 > 0.34FA25BFS25 > 0.34BFS50 > 0.34BFS65SF5 and 0.28FA25SF5 >> 0.28BFS65SF5 > 0.28BFS45SF5 > 0.28 FA20BFS25SF5, respectively. The cracking potentials of the seven mix proportions excluding 0.28FA25SF5 were lower than that of the existing nuclear power plant concrete; thus, the durability of a nuclear power plant against shrinkage cracking could be improved by applying the seven mix proportions with low cracking potentials.
