A Study on the Relationship between Needs and Clothing Interest (의상흥미와 욕구와의 상관연구 - 여자대학생을 중심으로 -)

  • 1. The Purpose of this study is (1) to analyze college women's clothing Interest. (2) to find out the relationship between Needs and Clothing Interest Field. 2. Results (1) Clothing Interest of Fashion and Shopping Field was highest in score. (2) The relationship between Needs and Clothing Interest field was as follows. (a) Clothing Interest of Construction correlated significantly with abasement, dominance, and sex atp<.05, and with achievement, affiliation, and emotionality at p<.01 level. (b) Clothing Interest of Design & Fashion correlated significantly with achievement, affiliation, aggression, dominance, emotionality, exhibitionism, sex, and autonomy at p<.01 level. (c) Clothing Interest of Shopping correlated significantly with emotionality at p<.05, and with affiliation, exhibitionism, sex, aggression, dominance, and achievement at p<.01 level. (d) Clothing Interest of Management correlated significantly with affiliation, achievement, and emotionality at p<.01, and with dominance at p<.05 level. (e) Clothing Interest of Pscho. Aspect. correlated significantly with abasement at p<.05, and with achievement, affiliation, aggression, dominance, emotionality, exhibitionism, and sex at p<.01 level.

Exploring the Effect of Cognitive Presence on Flow According to the Level of Interest (흥미수준에 따른 인지적 실재감이 몰입에 미치는 영향 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of cognitive Presence on Flow according to the level of interest among the most important factors that have an effect on academic achievement. This study targeted 162 people who took the teaching course of B University. For the study, data were collected through a survey on the level of interest, cognitive Presence, and Flow. In order to verify how cognitive presence affects flow according to the level of interest, multiple regression analysis was performed by dividing the collected data into low and high groups based on the average of the level of interest. As a result, the level of learning management of cognitive presence was .071 in the high level of interest, and the level of learning management was .143 in the low group of interest level. As a result of this, the effect of the level of learning management of cognitive presence on flow according to the level of interest was confirmed. Through the results of this study, a instructional design strategy that can be flow was suggested through supporting cognitive presence according to the level of interest.

A Study on the Relationship between Interest in Appearance, Appearance Satisfaction and Life Satisfaction in Adolescents (청소년의 외모관심, 외모만족도와 생활만족도의 관계 연구)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationships between appearance interest, appearance satisfaction, and life satisfaction of adolescent, to disclose the differences of these variables according to demographic characteristics, and to examine the determinants of life satisfaction. The subjects were 322 teenaged girls (167 middle school students and 155 high school students) living in Seoul. The variables of appearance interest were plastic surgery, weight control, clothing interest, and hairstyle interest. Life satisfaction included school life satisfaction and daily life satisfaction. Appearance satisfaction had negative relationships with plastic surgery interest and weight control interest, while appearance satisfaction had no relationships with clothing interest and hairstyle interest. School life satisfaction and daily life satisfaction had negative relationships with plastic surgery interest. The upper class adolescents had high level of clothing interest and life satisfaction, and lower class adolescents had high level of plastic surgery interest and had low appearance satisfaction as compared to other classes. The adolescent group with high school grade had high level of appearance satisfaction, and the group with low school grade had high level of weight control interest. The life satisfaction was influenced by appearance satisfaction the most, and the next in the order by school grade, residence area, and weight control interest. The explanatory power of the four variables was 30.8%. Social stratification and whether mothers had an occupation or not had an indirect effect on the life satisfaction.

The Mediate Effect of Gender on the Differences of Consumers grouped by the Level of Fashion Interest (유행 관심 수준에 따른 의복 쇼핑 성향과 의복 구매 행동에 성별이 미치는 매개적 영양)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediate effect of gender on the differences of consumers grouped by the level of fashion interest. Data was collected from 280 men and women of their twentieth and analyzed using crosstab analysis, ANOVA, scheff'e test, x$^{2}$ test, and regression. The results are as follows. First, high interest groups showed little difference in the clothing shopping orientation and showed significant differences in the clothing purchasing behaviors(visiting store, time spent for shopping, and monthly clothing expenditure) between men and women. Second, low interest groups showed a lot of differences in both the clothing shopping orientation and the clothing purchasing behaviors between men and women. Third, several dimensions of clothing shopping orientation were more influenced from fashion interest level rather than the gender of consumers, and other several dimensions, visiting store, and the time spent for shopping were more influenced from gender rather than fashion interest level. These results imply that the gender of consumer has mediate effect on the behaviors of consumers grouped by the level of fashion interest, and the consumers of same fashion interest level must be approached concerning the gender of consumers.

Survey on Body Image Perception, Dietary Habits and Nutrient Intakes according to Interest Level in Health of Female University Students in Gyeongnam Area (경남지역 일부 여대생의 건강관심도에 따른 체형인식, 식생활습관과 영양소 섭취 실태 조사)

  • This study was conducted using a self boarding questionnaire survey to investigate body image perception, dietary habits and nutrient intakes according to interest level in health of female university students in Masan area (n=302). The subjects were divided into 2 groups according to interest level in health ('High' group, n=101, 'Low' group, n=201). Body image according to BMI was significantly different regardless of interest level in health (p<0.001). The answer percentage indicated that the purpose of weight control is health, regular use of the scale, and regular exercise were significantly higher in the high group (p<0.05). Nutrient knowledge score (p<0.01) and food frequency score (p<0.001) were significantly higher in the high group (p<0.01). There were no significant differences in nutrient intake, but intake, NAR and INQ of vitamin C were significantly higher in the high group (p<0.001). Nutrition knowledge score (p<0.01), food intake frequency score (p<0.01), and INQ and NAR of vitamin C (p<0.01) were positively correlated with the interest level in health. These results will be useful as a basis for the development of effective nutrition education programs in order to increase interest level in health and apply well in real life what have learned through the correct nutrition knowledge.

  • The purpose of this study is to survey the learner’s need achievement, interest and practical level of the learning objectives according to the teacher’s teaching method in home economics of middle school(Dietary Life Unit), to examine the differences according to the local situation, and to get some information to improve the teaching method. This study surveyed the eight units of dietary life with 459 students in the rural community (224 students) and Seoul(235 Students). The collected data were analyzed by T-test, F-test. To sum up this study are as follows: 1. When the need, achievement, interest and practical level of unit “food”are compared the students of seoul with those of rural community, the student of Seoul show high in “The use of Processed Foodstuffs” and low in “Cooking the Processed Foodstuffs.”The student of rural community show in “A kind of Cooking Method”and low in “Environment and Food Life”. 2. The need, achievement, interest, practical level of the whole unit in rural community is higher than those is Seoul. 3. According to teaching method, comparison Seoul with rural community is revealed as follows. Seoul region is revealed significance to discovery learning in “Cooking Foodstuffs(The achievement and interest level) and ”Environment and Food Life”(interest level). Rural community is revealed significance to discussion learning in “The constituent and Food Life”(The need level, interest level). Rural community is revealed significance to explanation learning in “Environment and Food Life”(The achievement level).

Depression and Interest Level of Office Workers in their 30s to 40s

  • This study investigated the relationship between depressive symptoms and interests of workers in their 30s to 40s. This study recruited 49 workers who fit the selection criteria. Descriptive, frequency, and regression analyses were performed. To describe participant characteristics and the classification of depression and interest, descriptive and frequency analyses were used. The effect of interest patterns on depressive symptoms was analyzed using a multiple regression analysis, specifying the significance level at 0.05. The results of this study showed that half of the respondents, who were in their 30s and 40s, experienced depression. In addition, this study indicated that interest of workers in their 30s to 40s in daily, cognitive, physical, and social activities in the present was lower than that in the past. This interest level affected depression in past and present interest (p<0.05). This study investigated the relationship between interest and depression of workers in their 30s to 40s and suggest that interest in various areas may help prevent depression.

Analysis on the Middle School Teachers' Level of Interest of Achievement Standards-based Assessment (성취평가제에 대한 중학교 교사의 관심수준 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of interest in the achievement evaluation system, under the assumption that the teacher is an important element of curriculum. For this study, surveys targeting the 150 middle school teachers from 6 schools in Pusan was conducted. A questionnaire based CBAM model was used as research tools. For data analysis, mean of relative strength by teacher's level of interest was calculated. And MANOVA was used to investigate the difference among level of interest according to teachers' background such as sex, age, career, job position, and the grade they taught. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, the middle school teachers' overall interest for achievement evaluation system is low. Teachers showed a typical pattern appeared in the early stages of change. They have little interest in the achievement evaluation system. And they should try to fix and change the achievement evaluation system rather than cooperate it. Second, as a result of this analysis of the difference according to teachers' background, no significant differences were found in most of the variables. Significant differences were found only in age, career, and job position from step 0. In running the post hoc, teachers who have less careers, lower positions, and younger ages had less interest in achievement evaluation system.

Exploring the Relationship between Achievement Goal Orientation, Learning Motivation, and Flow in Distant PBL Classes: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of the Level of Interest (원격 PBL 수업에서 성취목표지향성, 학습동기, 몰입의 관계 탐색 : 흥미 수준의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study explored the structural relationship between achievement goal orientation, learning motivation, and level of interest on the level of flow in distance PBL classes. A structural model was constructed through analysis of previous studies. Data for the verification of the structural model were collected from 59 students in the teaching courses. The study took PBL lessons remotely. After the PBL class was ended, flow, achievement goal orientation, learning motivation, and level of interest were measured. The collected data were analyzed using the structural equation model analysis method. As a result, the structural model proposed in this study was verified to be valid. It was verified that the level of interest mediated the influence of achievement goal orientation and learning motivation to influence commitment. Next, it was verified that the path through which the level of interest mediates the effect of achievement goal orientation has the greatest influence. Therefore, it is possible to suggest that the level of flow can be adjusted if the level of interest is adjusted in consideration of the achievement goal orientation of learners when operating distance PBL classes.

Men's Cosmetics Purchasing Behavior Based on the Level of Interest in Appearance, the Country of Origin, and the Sales Promotion (외모관심도, 화장품 브랜드원산지 및 판촉유형에 따른 남성화장품 구매행동)

  • This research studied men's cosmetics purchasing behavior based on the level of interest one has in one's appearance, the country of origin, and the sales promotion of the cosmetics. The study was conducted by experimental $2{\times}[2{\times}2]$ design by combining the 3 variables mentioned above. The Independent variables in this research were levels of appearance interest(high vs. low), the country of origin(Korean vs. foreign), and types of sales promotion(discount vs. coupon). The dependent variables were the purchase behaviors including favor to cosmetics and purchase intent. Two hundred male consumers participated for the study. Data analysis conducted were factor analysis, cluster analysis and ANOVA. The results were as follows. 1. Male consumers' cosmetics favorness: 3-way significant interaction, in appearance interest, the country of origin, and types of sales promotion, was found for favor to male cosmetics. When male subjects were provided with price discounts and skin care coupons for the Korean cosmetics, they didn't reveal significant differences in favor, regardless of the level of appearance interest. However, for the imported cosmetics, male subjects with high appearance interest showed more favor to the cosmetics than the ones with low appearance interest. 2. Male consumers' purchase intent: 3-way significant interaction, in appearance interest, the country of origin, and types of sales promotion was found for the purchase intent. When male subjects were provided with price discounts and skin care coupons for the Korean cosmetics, they didn't show significant difference in purchase intent, regardless of their appearance interest.
