Abstract

The patent analysis of GPS technologies is performed by using a patent mapping method. The number of U.S.,Japanese and Korean patent applications are 1,819, 1,715 and 1,277 cases respectively. U.S and Japanese patents are mainly composed of hardware technologies. But, Korean patents are mainly composed of service technologies.
