Improvement of the Railroad Signalling Equipment using GPS and Wireless Telecommunication
GPS 및 무선통신을 이용한 철도신호설비 기능향상
Abstract
This paper gives a basic data of improving the performance of railroad signalling equipment by adopting GPS and wireless telecommunication technologies. These approach enable the moving block control of train, which can optimize train operation by reducing the distance between trains and maximize the railroad capacity. These method of detecting train position and controling train movement can also improve the train route control at stations.
