Abstract

Science and technology-related societies in the interior of a country sum up to approximately 660, and are increasing yearly, due to the development of new research fields and segmentation of past studies. Such societies are contributed with latest academic research information, and the submitted studies go through an review process before publication. A majority of the societies employ the traditional off-line review method; various problems and issues occur in delay of submission, review, revision, and management of the numerous paper submitted and published. Therefore, this study suggests the design of, and implemented an on-line paper review system which processes on-line submission and review of paper, facilitates swift and review progress, and enables efficient control and management on general tasks and academic information through integrated administration of members and published works.

국내의 과학기술 관련 학회는 약 660여개에 이르는 것으로 조사되고 있고 새로운 연구 분야의 개발과 기존 학문의 세분화로 신생 학회가 매년 증가하고 있다. 이러한 학회들은 최신 학술 연구 정보로서 논문을 투고 받고 있고 투고된 논문들은 발표되기 전에 심사 과정을 거치게 된다. 대부분의 학회에서는 우편을 이용한 오프라인 방식으로 심사가 이루어지고 있어 논문의 의뢰, 심사, 편집 기간이 길어지고 심사에 통과하여 발표된 수많은 논문들의 효율적인 관리도 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 논문의 심사 의뢰 및 심사 과정을 온라인 화 하여 신속하게 심사가 이루어지도록 하고 회원 및 게재 논문의 통합 관리를 통해 제반 업무의 경제적인 처리 및 효율적인 학술 정보 관리가 가능한 온라인 논문 심사 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.
