Abstract

To investigate the adequacy of maglev train system to future urban transport environments, first we derived minimum necessity requirements of the new-transit system by analyzing the issues in the urban transit management and new needs of transportation customers. Then the conformity of Maglev train to the requirements was examined. With respect to this adequacy analysis, policy directions and agenda of the making practical use of urban transit Maglev system' is proposed.
