국내 USN산업 현황분석 및 발전방안

The Actual Conditions of and Development Strategies for the Domestic USN Industry

최근 u-IT기술 발전과 디지털 컨버전스화에 따른 신규 부가가치 시장의 창출 및 이종 산업간 IT중심의 융 복합화가 빠르게 진행되고 있다. 이런 흐름속에서 주도적 역할을 할 것으로 기대되는 분야로 관심을 받고 있는 USN은 현재 산업의 성장사이클(Life Cycle) 상 기술개발 및 서비스 제공에 있어서 초기 단계로 판단된다. 하지만 향후 비약적 성장이 전망되는 블루오션 성격이 강하므로 원천기술 선점 및 관련 서비스의 우선 제공을 통해 향후 IT산업의 핵심 성장동력으로서 자리매김 할 수 있도록 하는 정책적 관심 및 지원이 절실히 필요하다. 이에 본고에서는 국내 USN 산업의 현황을 2006년 산업실태조사 결과를 바탕으로 USN공급기업의 매출액, 관련 기술, 전문인력, 사업 추진시 애로사항 요구사항 등에 관한 다각적 현황 분석을 통해 신산업육성 전략요소 및 모니터링요소에 대한 정책적 시사점을 도출하여 국내 USN산업의 조기활성화에 기여하고자 한다.

Recently, in the flow of the digital convergence and u-IT technology development, USN is expected to play a leading role. Currently, it is considered as a previous stage of an activation phase in the life cycle. However, the remarkable growth is predicted in the future. Therefore the political concern and the support are desperately needed for USN to be the core growth engine of the future IT industry. Thus, in this research, we present the condition of the national USN industry by the actual conditions of industry in 2006. And the political suggestion for the new industry monitoring element and essential element of strategy is drawn to contribute to the early activation of the national USN industry.
