An Application of Universal Design to Boarding Facilities for Pleasure Boat

Abstract

This study is intended to apply universal design concept and guideline to the boarding facilities of pleasure boat. In order to fulfill the purpose of the study a site survey at Suyoung Marina has been carried out. Out of the survey some problems are picked up for each part of access and pier facility, boarding platform and inside door. Practical measures for improving the situation are suggested.

레저용 보트를 이용하여 국민 누구나 해양레저스포츠를 즐길 수 있으려면 마리나에서 보트에 접근하여 승하선하는 시설에 장애자, 노약자 등의 사용편리를 위해 유니버설디자인이 적용되어야 한다. 본 연구는 유니버설디자인 측면에서 우리나라 마리나시설의 현황과 문제점을 살펴보고 그 대안을 제시하였다.
