Abstract
This paper proposes a new dynamic wavelength and bandwidth allocation algorithm for TWDM PON (time and wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network) which consists of an OLT (optical line termination) and multiple ONU (optical network unit). The proposed algorithm dynamically limits the number of the upstream wavelengths based on the request amount of ONUs to save power.
본 논문에서는 하나의 OLT (optical line termination)와 다수의 ONU (optical network unit)로 구성된 TWDM PON (time and wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network)의 동적 파장 및 동적 대역할당 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 ONU의 전송요청량에 근거하여 전송에 사용할 상향 파장개수를 동적으로 제한하여 소비전력을 감소시킨다.
