Ecological Characteristics for each of Plant Types in Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) II. Difference of Fruiting Habit for each of Plant Types

땅콩의 초형별 생태적 특성에 관한 연구 II. 땅콩의 초형별 결실습성 차이

The peanut, unlike other plants, has three distinct steps in the reproductive process. These are the flowers, the peg and the fruit. This research was designed in the field to determine the difference of fruiting habit for each of plant types of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) in peanut culture limiting region. Eight cultivars representing four plant types, i.e., Virginia, Spanish, Valencia and Shinpung types. Number of pegs per plant produced in order of Spanish, Valencia, Virginia, Shinpung, Virginia type. The Virginia small seed type produced the most pods per plant. The shinpung type showed more percentage of matured pod than other types and early pot-set habit. Distribution of mature pods for each of branch positions to total mature pods occupied 63% on two cotyledonary branchs, 34% on 3rd to 5th branchs, 3% on over 6th branchs. Shinpung type was considered more favorable plant type than other types for breeding of early maturing high yielding variety because of early pot-set and high percentage of mature pod.

땅콩의 초형, 재배양식에 따른 결실습성을 구명하고저 Virginia, Spanish, Valencia, Shinpung의 4초형에 속하는 10품종을 공시 재배양식 2수준(피복, 무피복)으로 하여 시험을 실시하였든 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 주당총자방병수는 피복, 무피복재배 모두 Spanish>Valencia 소립> Shinpung> Virginia 대립 순이었으며 피복재배는 무피복재배에 비해 평균 18개 정도 자방병수가 많았다. 2. 결협율은 피복재배의 경우 Virginia 소립 25.9％, Virginia 대립 20.2％, Spanish 13.7％, Valencia 12.0％, Shinpung 24.3％ 였으며 무피복재배에서는 Virginia 소립 27.3％, Virginia 대립 20.1％, Spanish 16.1％, Valencia 12.3％, Shinpung 22.7％로 평균 결협율은 19.5％였다. 3. 생육초기(파종후 60일)의 자방병출현수는 피복재배의 경우 Shinpung 38개, Valencia 14개, Spanish 11개, Virginia 소립 7개, Virginia 대립 6개였으며, 자방병수가 현저하게 증가된 시기는 피복재배에서 7월 9일∼7월 29일, 무피복재배에서는 7월 29일∼8월 18일 사이였다. 4. 주당협수는 초복재배의 경우 Virginia 소립 103개, Virginia 대립 86개, Spanish 84개, Valencia 81개, Shinpung 96개였고 무피복재배에서는 Virginia 소립 92개, Virginia대립 71개, Spanish 75개, Valencia 72개, Shinpung 87개였다. 5. 완숙협 비율은 피복재배의 경우 Shinpung 65％> Virginia소립 59.2％> Valencia 34.3％>Spanish 33.6％> Virginia 대립 31.4% 순이었으며 무피복재배의 경우는 Valencia 48.6%> Shinpung 43.3%> Virginia 소립 47.8％> Spanish 46.7％>Virginia 대립 25.3% 순으로 피복재배를 함으로써 평균 10.1％ 정도 완숙협 비율이 높았다. 6. 등숙초기(파종 120일후)의 완숙협 비율은 Shinpung> Spanish > Virginia 소립> Valencia > Virginia 대립 순이었으며 완숙협이 현저하게 증가된 시기는 7월 29일∼9월 7일 사이였다. 7. 절위분지별 완숙협의 분포는 전체 완숙협의 63％를 자엽절 2분지가 차지하고 있으며 다음으로 3∼5절 분지에서 34％, 6절위분지 이상에서 3％로 자엽절 2분지의 비중이 특히 컸다.
