Abstract
3, 4, 5, 6, -Tetrahydro-7-hydroxy-2-methyl-9-alkyl-2, 6-methano-2H-1-benzoxocins are readily prepared by baron trifluoride etherate-catalyzed cyclization of resorcinols with cyclic allylic alcohol.
