Performance Analysis of Mini Slotted CDMA ALOHA System For Wireless Data and Personal Communication

무선 데이타 통신 및 개인 통신을 위한 Mini Slotted CDMA ALOHA 기법의 성능 해석

CDMA technique has been largely focused for Wireless Data Communication and Personal Communication Network. ALOHA protocol also has been proven to be effective for Packet Radio Radio Network regardless of low throughput due to channel collisions. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of MS-CDMA-ALOHA (Mini-Slotted-CDMA-ALOHA) system, by analytic and simulation method. The superiority of the MS-CDMA-ALOHA system over conventional Slotted ALOHA and Slotted-CDMA-ALOHA systems are clearly demonstrated for throughput, delay and stability performances.

최근에는 무선 데이터 통신 및 개인 통신을 위한 다중 접속 기법으로 CDMA 방식 이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 또한 다중 접속 방식을 제어하기 위한 기존의 ALOHA 프로 토콜은 채널의 충돌로 인한 낮은 성능이 문제점으로 지적되어 왔으나 무선 패킷 통신 망에는 적합한 제어 기법으로 입증되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 ALOHA 기법을 CDMA 기술 로 구현한 MS-CDMA-ALOHA(Mini-Slotted- CDMA-ALOHA) 시스템의 성능 분석을 위하여 해석적 모델을 제시하고 제시한 모델의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 시뮬레이션을 수행 하여 해석결과와 비교하고 성능을 분석하였다. MS-CDMA-ALOHA 시스템의 성능은 기존 슬롯 ALOHA 시스템이나 Slotted-CDMA-ALOHA 보다 개선된 성능을 보여주었고 특히 과부 하 상태에서도 처리율과 지연 성능이 안정적으로 유지되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
