A study numerical analysis on the vibration characteristics of bearingless helicopter rotating blade

Abstract

The bearingless rotorcraft offers reduced waight, less complexity and superior flying qualities. The bearingless rotors are presently being developed and it is most likely that the next generation rotorcraft would be equipped with these rotors. Almost all practical designs of bearingless rotors include multiple load paths. The flexure of a bearingless blade consists of multiple beams (fflexbeads and troque tube) leading to redundancy. Numerical results are presented for several analytical models of the bearingless blade.
