초록

스피커 시스템의 음질을 객관적이면서도 정확하게 평가할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 무향실에서 측정한 주파수 특성에 근거하여 사람이 들었을 때의 여러 가지 느낌을 예측해 내는 방법을 제안하고, 이러한 절차를 통합적으로 처리할 수 있는 소프트웨어을 개발하였다. 개발된 소프트웨어를 세 종류의 오디오 스피커에 대하여 적용한 결과, 사람의 시청평가에 의한 결과와 매우 유사한 평가치를 나타내었다.

Some investigations have been made to evaluate the sound quality of a loudspeaker system, objectively and accurately. Also, an algorithm is proposed to predict the various subjective values regarding loudspeaker performance based on the frequency response measured in anechoic chamber. A PC-based software that processes the proposed algorithm has also been developed. To verify the validity of the developed software, three loudspeakers has been evaluated using it and the evaluation results have been compared with the results of the listening test. The comparison between the two showed a good similarity.
