라꾸의 변천과 발전에 대한 연구

A Study on the changing and development of Raku

라꾸란 이름의 도자기법은 일본어로서 일본인에 의해 시작된 것으로 널리 알려지고 있지만, 실지로는 1525년에 일본에 정착해서 살고 있던 한국인 조지로에 의해 시작되었음이 영국인 Bernard Leach가 쓴 "도예가의 책"에 의하여 세계에 알려졌다. 그 후 라꾸기법은 유럽과 미국에서 꾸준히 발전해서 지금은 숙련된 기법으로 많은변화를 가져왔다. 외국에 비교해서 우리나라에서 라꾸가 발전하지 못한 이유를 조사하고,발전방향을 모색하여 실천하는 것이 앞으로의 도예가가 할 일이다.우리 선조들이 발명한 도자기법을 확실히 알고 역사적 배경과 변화되어온 과정 그리고 오늘의 라꾸도자기의 발전된 모습에 대해 검토, 분석하고자 한다. 검토, 분석하고자 한다.

Although the ceramic technique called Raku has been known to be invented by Japaness "The Book of Ceramic Artists" written by Bernard Leach indicates that it is in fact originated by Korean named Cho, Ji-ro who had settled in Japan since 1525. Raku has been continously developed in Europe and America. It now brings out a great deal of variation through skillful techniques. What the ceramists are supposed to is to seek the reasons why the Raku could not developed in Korea compared to the foreign countries, also they need to find out the direction of its development and work on it continously. This study is to examine and analyge the process of development of Raku ceramic technique along with historical background.ackground.
