Microscopic Identification of Jeol Chung Yum

'Jeol Chung Yum' is a Chinese patent medicine, which is used for a disease of women peculiarity by extravasated blood, a kind of stagnation state of blood and of menstrual irregularity in Korea; This medicine consists of 10 kinds of powdery mixtures, and microscopic method can advantageously be used for identification as it requires only a small amount of specimens. In this paper, the effectiveness of this methods will be exemplified by the identification of the ingredients in 'Jeol Chung Yum' which contains 10 powdered crude drug ingredients.
