정보기술의 발전과 대학도서관의 대응

Abstract

정보기술은 정보의 생산 및 유통방식에 커다란 변화를 가져왔으며 그 결과, 전통적인 대학도서관의 기본 역할이 변화된 것은 아니나 역할 이행을 위한 기능수행방법 및 영역에 커다란 혁신을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 대학도서관의 서비스 환경을 변화시키고 있는 정보기술의 발전과정, 정보기술의 발전으로 인한 대학도서관의 변화 등에 관하여 고찰하였고, 그것을 바탕으로 대학도서관이 이러한 변화를 수용하여 대학의 핵심기구로서 그 역할을 다하고 위상을 한층 높일 수 있는 대응방안을 모색하였다.
