Abstract

본 논문은 무선 ATM 서비스의 핸드오버 처리를 위한 경로 재구성 방법에 대한 것으로써 경로 재구성을 위한 교차 스위치의 신속한 검색을 위하여 경로 연혁정보를 활용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 본 방법에서는 단말로부터 핸드오버가 욕되는 시점에서 현재의 연결에 대한 경로정보를 전달 받아 경로 연혁정보에서 일치되는 교차 스위치를 찾아 직접 경로 재구성을 위한 신호정보를 전달함으로써 경로 재구성 처리시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 그리고 핸드오버 과정에서의 셀 순서 유지와 유실을 방지하기 위하여 기지국에서 관리하는 버퍼 사용방법을 사용하였다.
