SI 단위계를 국제단위계로 채택한 이래, 우리나라에서는 이를 충실히 쓰기 위해 행정적인 지도와 교육적 지도 등 많은 노력들을 하여왔다. 그러나 아직 일반 국민들이 SI 단위를 올바르게 사용하고 표기하는 데에 부족한 면이 많은 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 중학생들을 대상으로 설문조사함으로써, 단위계를 얼마나 정확히 사용하고 있는지 분석함으로써, 단위 교육의 필요성을 제기하고자 한다.
The signs have been used as the world-wide common language. Because all units have their own meanings, their usage should be kept correctly. This paper shows how middle school students know and keep the usage of SI units. And this paper shows the necessity of teaching the students correct units in their schools.
