Accelerated Life Test and Safety Assessment of Airborne Starter-Generator

항공기용 시동/발전기의 가속수명시험과 안전성 평가

Reliability is the ability of a system or component to perform its required functions under stated conditions for a specified period of time. It is recognized that reliability is a key point of technical competency. This paper presents background of reliability and accelerated test concept, and verified the MTBF and assessed safety of airborne starter-generator through accelerated life test.

신뢰성이란 "부품이나 시스템이 주어진 환경에서 고장 없이 일정기간 동안 요구기능을 수행하는 특성"으로서, 신뢰성 기술수준은 선진국과 후진국의 기술경쟁력을 비교하는 주요 척도중 하나로 인식되고 있다. 이에 신뢰성의 역사적 배경과 가속시험의 개념을 살펴보고, 가속수명시험을 통해 항공기용 시동/발전기의 수명을 확인하고, 안전성을 평가한다.
