A study on Developing and Testing the effects of an Educational Program on Communication Skills for Military Counselors

직업군인 상담자를 위한 대화기술 교육프로그램 개발 및 효과

The purpose of this study is to develop an educational program for improving conversational skills in military counselors and prove its effects. For statistical analysis, t test to find out homogeneity between the experimental and control group and to find out the differences of two groups, and an evaluation before and after the program to verify the therapeutic effects of the program were each proved by SPSS 15.0 for Windows. The followings are the list of the results. First of all, the program was effective in improving military counseling communication skills. Secondly, it was proved to be effective in improving self-effectiveness in counselors. Thirdly, the program was effective in improving interpersonal communication skills. Fourthly, the program revealed its therapeutic effects. Therefore, it is concluded that the program would help greatly in military counseling and living.

본 연구는 상담대화기술 교육프로그램을 개발하여 부사관을 대상으로 실시해보고 그 효과를 검증하여, 군 발전에 기여하고자 하였다. 2008년 4월 22일부터 25일까지 육군 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$사단 예하 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$본부대, 전자대대, 통신대대의 부사관 하사, 중사 총 80명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 그 중 회수되지 않은 것과 불성실하게 응답한 5부를 제외한 75부의 설문지를 분석하였다. SPSS 15.0 for Windows를 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 따라서 연구결과를 바탕으로 결론을 내리면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 군 상담자를 위한 상담대화기술 교육프로그램이 부사관의 상담대화기술을 증진시키는데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 군 상담자를 위한 상담대화기술 교육프로그램이 상담자 자기효능감을 증진시키는데 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 군 상담자를 위한 상담대화기술 교육프로그램이 대인 의사소통 능력 향상을 증진시키는데 효과가 있었다. 넷째, 군 상담자를 위한 상담대화기술 교육프로그램이 치료적 요인에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
