CCN (Content-Centric Networking): 콘텐츠 중심 네트워킹 - 인터넷 주소, 이제 몰라도 된다

Abstract

본고에서는 최근 미래 인터넷의 주요 핵심 기술로 주목 받고 있는 콘텐츠 중심 네트워킹 기술에 대해서, 이러한 기술연구가 시작되게 된 배경과 관련 연구, 산업체 및 표준 현황에 대해 살펴본다. 특히 여러 후보 기술들 중, 그 개념의 완성도 및 실현 가능성에 있어서 가장 앞서 있는 CCN (Content-Centric Networking)을 중심으로 콘텐츠 중심 네트워킹의 동작원리를 설명하고, 관련 주요 사용 예 (Use Case)와 향후 전망에 대해 짚어본다.
