Effects of Fruiting Productivity of Grifola frondosa Using Bottle Cultivation according to Different Substrate Composition

Abstract

To determine a favorable substrate formulation for Grifola frondosa, physicochemical conditions, culture properties, and yields according to various substrate formulations were investigated. Based on these analyses, T4 (80:5:15 ratio of oak sawdust to dried bean-curd refuse to corn husk) resulted in a shorter cultivation period and higher yields (weight of fresh mushrooms harvested at maturity) than those of other treatments. The physicochemical properties of T4 were pH 5.4, 2.4% crude fat contents, 54 C/N ratio, 74.3% porosity, and 0.26 g/cm3 bulk density. These results emphasize the importance of optimal substrate development on the production efficiency of G. frondosa mushrooms and have implications for commercial applications.

잎새버섯을 새로운 소득 품목으로 개발하고자 안정생산용 배지개발 연구를 위하여 참나무톱밥, 참나무칩, 미루나무톱밥 3종과 영양원으로 건비지, 옥수수피, 미강 3종을 혼합비율별 6처리로 시험을 수행하였다. 배지재료 및 배지조성별 이화학적 특성을 분석하고 재배 및 자실체 생산성을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 배지재료별 pH는 참나무톱밥, 참나무칩, 옥수수피가 4.0~4.8, 건비지, 미강이 각각 6.6과 6.7로 나타났고, 미강은 조지방 함량이 17.1%로 높았으며, 질소함량은 건비지 5.2%, 미강 2.5%, 옥수수피 1.3% 순으로 나타났다. 공극률은 배지충진량 450 g이 500 g보다 높고 반대로 용적밀도는 낮은 경향이었다. 수분함량은 모든 처리구에서 59~62%, pH는 5.0~5.5으로 나타났고, 조지방 함량은 미강의 함량이 많은 T6(대조구)가 높고, 영양원이 비율이 높은 T5의 질소함량이 가장 높았다. 초발이 소요일수는 T1~T4가 10~11일이었으나 T6은 20일로 다소 지연되었고, T5와 T6의 450 g 처리구에서는 발생이 되지 않았다. 병당 수량은 배지량 450 g보다 500 g에서 전반적으로 높게 나타났고 혼합배지 중에서는 T1, T3, T4가 104~112 g으로 수량이 유의적으로 우수하였다. 그렇지만 병당 수량 편차는 T4의 변이계수가 9.6으로 가장 낮았다. 이상의 결과 T4의 배지조성(참나무톱밥 80%, 건비지 5%, 옥수수피 15%, v/v)이 초발이소요일수 10일로 대조구의 20일에 비해 10일 단축되었고 수량도 관행 대비 1.27 배 증수되어 적합배지로 선발하고, 이때의 배지의 이화학성은 pH 5.4, 조지방 2.4%, C/N율 74.3%, 공극률 74.3%, 용적밀도 $0.26g/cm^3$이었다.
