Abstract

This study aims to develop BIM library applied environmental impacts and cost parameter for deducting quantity, environmental impacts and environmental cost of main construction materials automatically by using schedule function in BIM program. For this aim, 5 major construction materials(Concrete, glass, insulation, brick, gypsum board) were deducted, and established as BIM library by subdividing into strength, species of the materials. Also, LCI DB of major construction materials were analyzed for applying the environmental impacts and cost parameter in BIM library properties. Especially the environmental impact parameter was considered by calculating each 6 environmental impacts (GWP, ADP, AP, EP, ODP, POCP), the environmental cost parameter considered with KOLID. As a result, the 72 kinds of major construction materials BIM library were established, so that, quantity of major materials, embodied environmental impacts and environmental cost of building could be deducted by using these BIM library.
