고정희의 역사 연작 시편에 나타나는 여성 해방 담론 연구 - 주디스 버틀러의 수행성 개념을 중심으로

The Study on Women’s Liberation Discourse in Goh Jung-Hee’s History Series-Poems - Based on Judith Butler's Performativity Theory -

본고의 목적은 고정희의 역사 연작 시편에 나타나는 여성 해방 담론을 수행성의 차원에서 살피는 데에 있다. 담론으로서의 수행성에는 역담론의 가능성, 즉 저항적 재의미화와 정치적 전복력이 존재한다. 「현대사 연구」와 「여성사 연구」, 「이야기 여성사」에서는 여성 담론과 역사를 연결 짓는 논의가 공통적으로 제시되며, 이는 ‘역사’라는 공통적인 틀 안에서 연결됨으로써 텍스트 차원에서의 새로운 역사를 구축한다. 고정희의 역사 연작 시편은 텍스트적 차원에서의 역사를 구성하고 기존의 억압 담론의 기제인 이분법을 전복하려는 욕망을 반복함으로써 역담론으로서의 수행성을 형성하며, 여성 억압의 담론과 여성 혐오를 전유하고 거부함으로써 기존 질서를 전복하는 수행문을 구성한다. 고정희의 역사 연작 시편은 기존의 젠더 규범과 이를 형성하는 이분법적 헤게모니를 무너뜨리고 사회적 실재를 창조하는 수행적 저항성을 형성한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study aims to discuss the discourse on women’s liberation shown in Goh Jung-Hee’s History series-poems under performativity theory.Performativity as a discourse possesses the possibility of counter-discourse, i.e. resistant reconceptualizing and political subversion,「a study onmodern history」,「a study on herstory」, and 「story-herstory」 simultaneously suggests discussion in connection of the discourse on women and history, which constitutes a new history in text level by being associated under the common frame of ‘history’. Goh Jung-Hee’s History series-poem develop performativity as counter-discourse by founding historyin text level and repeating the desire to overthrow dichotomy–the instrument of the already established discourse of suppression–and constitutes performatives that revolts against the previous order by denying andexpropriating misogyny and the discourse of female oppression. ThroughGoh Jung-Hee’s History series-poems we can examine the formation ofperformative resistance that dissolves dichotomic hegemony that empowers previous gender criterion and creates social reality.
