Phenomenological Analysis on Causes of Addiction in Smartphone Addiction Adolescents

스마트폰 중독 청소년의 중독원인에 대한 현상학적 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to deeply understand the causes of addiction of the addicted adolescents of smartphone. Colaizzi's phenomenological study method was applied to analyze the causes of the addiction caused by the addicts'. The results of the study were confirmed 63 constructive meanings in the meaningful data expressed in the participants' experiences, Based on them, they were derived as 26 subjects, 8 subject groups and 2 categories. The causes of addiction were 'Personal psychological factor', 'Behavior habit factor', 'Social relation factor' and 'Internet smart phone factor'. Psychological, physical, interpersonal and everyday life changes were the results accompanied by causes of addiction. Through this study, the causes of addiction revealed in the participants' experiences are expected to be applied to the client-centered therapy of the smartphone addiction counseling process.

본 연구의 목적은 스마트폰 중독 청소년들의 중독원인에 따른 의미와 본질을 심층적으로 파악하는 것이다. 6명의 스마트폰 중독 청소년 참여자들이 스마트폰 중독경험에서 드러난 중독의 원인에 대해 Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 연구 참여자들의 경험에서 표현된 의미 있는 자료에서 63개의 구성의미가 확인되었고, 그것을 토대로 26개의 주제와 8개의 주제군과 2개의 범주로 도출되었다. 중독원인은 '개인심리적 요인', '행동습관적 요인', '사회관계적 요인', '인터넷 스마트폰 요인'으로 나타났다. 중독원인에 수반된 결과는 '심리적 변화', '신체적 변화', '대인관계의 변화', '일상생활의 변화'로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 참여자의 경험에서 드러난 중독원인에 대한 현상학적 분석결과들은 스마트폰 중독 상담과정에서 내담자 중심의 치료적 개입에 활용될 수 있다.
