Abstract

This study reports an egg parasitoid parasitizing the oriental fruit moth, Grapholita molesta. The parasitized eggs were collected from an apple orchard in Bukhoo-Myeon, Andong, Korea. The antennal and wing morphological characters of the egg parasitoid isolate indicated the high similarity to those of Trichogramma chilonis. This was further supported by the DNA sequence of its cytochrome oxidase I.
