The number of Social Networking Sites (SNS) users has been increased in Uzbekistan as those in other societies. In this paper, we investigate SNS users' self-diclosures in Uzbekistan dividing into two groups, male and female. Uzbekistan as an Islamic society requires different social rules and norms by gender, especially meeting with people outside of their family members. These requirements for male are not so much different from those in other societies. On the other hands, they are much more strict for female than those in other societies, for instance, interacting with other males out of their family members is not easy. For this reason, there might be different factors affecting their self-disclosures when they use SNS between two groups. This paper investigate factors that affect self-disclosure on SNS and compare male and female groups in Uzbekistan based on privacy calculus theory. Furthermore, two factors (private relationship benefit and narcissism) that are related to Ismaic culture are included in the research model. The survey data of 261 respondents are analyzed to compare similarities and differences between male and female groups in Uzbekistan.
