Abstract

This study explores the value of research performance assessment services using research performance analysis systems to enhance university's research competitiveness and raise awareness about academic libraries and librarians. In-depth interviews were conducted with librarians from six academic libraries offering research performance assessment services. The study examined the background of implementing research performance analysis solutions, the current status of operations, achievements, and challenges. Based on the findings, the study identified areas for improvement and proposed strategies for better service operation. The results confirm that research performance assessment services in academic libraries play a crucial role in supporting universities as key institutions, enhancing their research capabilities. This research is expected to provide useful insights for planning or operating similar services.
