Abstract

Harmonia dimidiata (Fabricius, 1781) is recorded for the first time in Korea. This ladybird beetle can be easily distinguished from other congeners by the round and very convex body, black bilobed spot at base of pronotum, and seven black spots (1-3-2-1) on each elytron. We provide key to species of the Korean Harmonia, diagnostic characteristics, and DNA barcoding data in this study.
