Abstract

This study examined the convergent learning effects of a flipped learning-based emergency nursing program for nursing students. A one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used with 32 third-year nursing students from S University. The eight-week program included pre-class video learning, team-based activities, practical exercises, and presentations. Self-efficacy, problem-solving ability, and critical thinking tendency were measured using validated instruments before and after the program. Data were analyzed using paired t-tests with SPSS 26.0. Significant improvements were found in learning self-efficacy (t=-2.72, p=.011), problem-solving ability (t=-2.37, p=.024), and critical thinking disposition (t=-2.37, p=.024) after the program. These results indicate that flipped learning can enhance nursing students' core competencies and support the development of effective emergency nursing education programs.
