Let 𝔈 denote a unital *-algebra. For any elements ${\mathfrak{E}},\,{\mathfrak{F}}$ ∈ 𝔈, we define the products ${\mathfrak{E}}{\circledcirc}{\mathfrak{F}}={\mathfrak{E}}^*{\mathfrak{F}}+{\mathfrak{F}}^*{\mathfrak{E}}$ and $[{\mathfrak{E}},{\mathfrak{F}}]_{\bullet}={\mathfrak{E}}^*{\mathfrak{F}}-{\mathfrak{F}}^*{\mathfrak{E}}$, which are referred to as the bi-skew Jordan product and the bi-skew Lie product, respectively. In this article, we establish that a nonlinear mapping ζ : 𝔈 → 𝔈 satisfying $${{\zeta}([{\mathfrak{E}}_1\,{\circledcirc}\,{\mathfrak{E}}_2\,{\circledcirc}\,{\cdots}\,{\circledcirc}\,{\mathfrak{E}}_{n-1},\,{\mathfrak{E}}_n]_{\bullet})\\=\sum_{j=1}^{n}[{\mathfrak{E}}_1\,{\circledcirc}\,{\mathfrak{E}}_2\,{\circledcirc}\,{\cdots}\,{\circledcirc}\,{\mathfrak{E}}_{j-1}\,{\circledcirc}\,{\zeta}({\mathfrak{E}}_j)\,{\circledcirc}\,{\mathfrak{E}}_{j+1}\,{\circledcirc}\,{\cdots}\,{\circledcirc}\,{\mathfrak{E}}_{n-1},\,{\mathfrak{E}}_n]_{\bullet}$$ for all ${\mathfrak{E}}_1,\,{\mathfrak{E}}_2,\,{\cdots},\,{\mathfrak{E}}_n$ ∈ 𝔈 and n ≥ 3, is an additive *-derivation. Furthermore, we apply the above-mentioned result to several distinct algebras.
