Converged Influencing Factors on the Stages of Change of Exercise in Middle Aged Women (중년여성의 운동행위변화단계에 미치는 융합적 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the convergent factors which influence on the stages of exercise behavior change of middle-aged women. 200 middle-aged women surveyed, 41 to 64years old, is residing D city, Chung-Nam province, who understand the purpose of this study and agree to participate in this study. This study data is analyzed by using frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, $x^2$ test and Logistic regression analysis. The study show that the social support factors(${\beta}$=.998, p=.010) and the motives of exercise(${\beta}$=3.407, p<.001) among middle aged women have an effect on the stages of exercise behavior change meaningfully. That is, the social support of middle aged women who have exercise behavior change is 2.5 times higher than middle aged women who don't have exercise behavior change, and the motives of exercise is 20.1 times higher. Based on theoretical ground, this study suggests that government and community seek programs for promoting the exercise behavior, considering the motives of exercise and the social supports.

  • In the Digital Transformation infrastructure at the addition to research on mental health such as depression and well-being, research on middle-aged health requires a study consisting of specific measures of cognitive health. This study used social, mental, and physical cognitive health as a sub-domain of cognitive health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the positive effects of volunteer activities on cognitive health for middle-aged women. The questionnaire survey was conducted on middle-aged women aged 40 to 59, focusing on the question "How well does cognitive health work for middle-aged women through volunteer activities?" The goal of this study is to examine the effect of volunteer activities on the cognitive health of middle-aged women and to analyze the meaning and influencing factors of volunteer activities needed to maintain the desirable life of middle-aged women and the healthy life of the elderly. The necessity to diversify and activate volunteer activities of middle-aged women was proved through the survey.

A convergence study on middle-aged women's beauty interest, medical skin care visit intention, experience satisfaction, and psychological happiness (중년여성의 뷰티관심도와 메디컬스킨케어 방문의도, 경험만족도, 심리적 행복감에 관한 융합연구)

  • The purpose of the study is to know that the medical skin care improves the quality of middle-aged women's life and happiness improves their confidence by analyzing the medical skin care visit intention, experience satisfaction, and happiness according to their beauty interest. This study analyzed 242 copies of the data through the SPSS v.22 Statistical Package Program. According to the analysis, middle-aged women's interest in beauty is important to experience satisfaction(F=201.821, p<.001). Experience satisfaction is statistically significant to happiness factors(F=384.625, p<.001). Based on this study, differentiated marketing that identifies the intention to visit is needed. Also, the higher the satisfaction of medical skin care experience, the more helpful it is to lead a positive life by improving their confidence.

  • This study investigated the relationship among stress, hardiness and self-esteem of the middle-aged woman. The move to seek the direction of desirable lifetime-cycle training for middle-aged woman in order to improve the hardiness and self-esteem, decrease the stress of the middle-aged woman. This study was conducted among 200 middle-aged woman living in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheong region as a correlation research. Data collection period was from April 1, 2015 to April 30. Data were analyzed by t-values, Correlation coefficient using the SPSS Program 18.0. Stress, hardiness and self-esteem of the middle-aged woman showed a correlation between net. Therefore, to improve the middle-aged woman hardiness and self-esteem so that needed to decrease the stress development and application of efficient programs.

  • 본 연구는 발달적 위기에 놓여있는 중년여성의 피로도와 스트레스 저항력 그리고 정서와의 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 뇌신경 생리학적 지표인 뇌파 측정을 이용하여 분석해 보고자 하였다. 2005년 3월부터 2009년 6월까지 한국정신과학연구소에 뇌파 측정을 의뢰한 우리나라 중년여성 4403명(35세~65세)을 기준으로 선정된 뇌기능 지수(긴장도, 항스트레스지수, 정서지수)를 시계열 선형분석과 상관분석으로 한 결과 중년여성의 피로도, 스트레스 저항력 그리고 정서에는 밀접한 관계가 있었다. 그러므로 사회적으로나 가정적으로 성숙하고 책임감 있는 중년여성의 역할이 필요한 현대사회에서, 중년기의 심리적 생리적 문제에 적극적으로 대처하는 것이 개인생활은 물론 가족의 원만한 기능과 안녕을 유지, 증진하는데 반드시 필요하다.

The Mediating Effect of Cognitive Function on Climacteric Symptoms and Quality of Life in the Middle-aged Women (중년여성의 갱년기 증상과 삶의 질의 관계에 대한 인지기능의 매개효과)

  • This study was conducted to extend the understanding and knowledge by examining the effect of climacteric symptoms and the cognitive function on QoL(Quality of life) of middle aged women. This study was conducted from March 2nd to March 10th, 2014. The data was collected by self-report questionnaires from 204 middle aged women. There was a significantly positive correlation between the climacteric symptoms and cognitive function. A significantly negative correlation was observed between the climacteric symptoms and QoL. The climacteric symptoms were a direct predictor and an indirect predicator of QoL mediated by the cognitive function. The study suggests that nursing intervention is needed to manage the climacteric symptoms and cognitive function for improving the QoL of middle aged women.

Factors Influencing the Sexual Satisfaction of Middle-aged Women (중년여성의 성만족에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Sexual satisfaction depends a lot of various factors. The study was conducted to understand middle-aged women's sexual function, sexual communication, and sexual satisfaction and to determine factors influencing sexual satisfaction. As a descriptive correlation study, data was collected during Oct. in 2012 to Jan. in 2013 from 126 middle-aged women in Korea. Sexual function, sexual communication, and sexual satisfaction were averaged 25.02 (range of score 2~36), 3.12 (out of 5), and 2.36 (out of 4), respectively. Sexual satisfaction had a positive correlation with sexual function and sexual communication. Sexual function, sexual communication, and last formal education were influencing factors on sexual satisfaction. Sexual satisfaction of middle-aged women was considered their physical and psychological aspects. Nurses should become aware of the wider consideration that need to be made in relation to the general and sexual quality of life when caring for middle-aged women.

How the middle-aged women view her own life? (중년 여성들의 삶에 대한 조명)

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify what's the middle-aged experience until now and what's the middle-aged women shed light on their life. The phenomenology study design was used and Giorgi method was used for this analysis. We selected 7 middle-aged women for this study such as 2 professor, 1 dentist, 1 own-business woman, 1 house house wife, 1 Nurse, and 1 farming woman. The result of this study were as followers; there were 7 structure factors such as 'poor family economic status', 'meaning of family-of-origin', 'dynamic social experience', 'marriage', 'heartrending', 'getting feeling of aging', and 'focus of life'. According to the results of this study, the participants who were more positive feeling of their poor family status, they were more becoming professional job in the adult age. And they shed light on their life with spirituality through the dynamic social experience, marriage, and heartrending. Therefore we suggest that right spiritual program for the better old aged time for them.

A Convergence Study of Factors Influencing on Depressive Symptoms in Postmenopausal Middle-Aged Women (폐경 후 중년여성의 우울 증상 영향요인의 융합연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify its influencing factors of depressive symptoms in postmenopausal middle-aged women though analyzing secondary data. The data of 647 with 40~65 aged women who participated in the Seventh Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2016 were used. The data were analyzed by complex sample independent t-test and multiple linear regression. In multiple linear regression analysis, economic status, subjective health status, perceived stress, smoking, physical activity, and limitation of active had significant effect on depressive symptoms in postmenopausal middle-aged women. These variables explained 36% of the variance in depressive symptoms. The findings suggest that healthcare providers should be considered to these factors when developing intervention strategies to decrease depressive symptoms in postmenopausal middle-aged women.
