Automatic Control System for the Stringing Transmission Wire by the Measured Tension (장력측정에 의한 가설 송전선의 시스템 자동화)

  • As transmission line is installed by manual operation, it is necessary to scheme the automatic system for stringing transmission wire. For this necessity, the objective of this paper is developed automatic control system for a stringing of transmission wire. In this paper, transmission wire with suspended pattern and ac servo motor for torque generating are modeled. On the basis of wire model, algorithms to determine the reference tension is presented, so as the dip of transmission wire is keep constancy. The control scheme is proposed by the ac servo motor for torque generation and a load cell for a detected tension of transmission wire and implemented. We experimentally show that the performance of the tension response is satisfactory. And also proposed scheme verified the utilities for tension control of transmission wire.

  • We found that a droplet placed on a superhydrophobic surface jumps upward when we controlled the electrical wetting tension appropriately by applying AC voltage. We investigated how the surface deformation and jumping phenomenon of a droplet are affected by applied frequency under constant voltage. We found that a droplet jumps up continuously at a resonance frequency.

Natural Rubber Electrical Conduction Mechanism in High and Low Electric Fields (고전계와 저전계에서 천연고무의 전기전도기구)

  • This work shows the experimental results obtained from ageing at a temperature of 100 C for 48, 70 and 312 h, although the application of AC electrical tension in samples and the measuring of current leakage are presented. The measurements in samples were carried out with samples prepared from the deformulated commercial materials and respectively reformulated into thin films. The obtained results showed the mechanisms of conduction of samples in low and high electric fields. It was also identified an electric tension transition showing that in low fields it prevails the Ohm's law conduction, and in high electric fields it prevails the conduction of space charge limited current (SCLC). These results can support the natural rubber formulation process having as their main objective the reducing of the mechanisms that occur under high conduction current in high electric fields, which leads the material to a dielectric breakdown. Raw Natural rubber in Brazil is extracted from rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis) in farms in So Paulo State by using some new plantation technology in smaller spaces, with trees placed a few meters from each other. In the Amazon rain forest the rubber trees are found naturally and their spacing may be of hundreds of meters or even kilometers between them. It is necessary to research this raw material from different internationally standard clones to characterize dielectric and electric properties for industrial applications. Moreover, this natural material has a low commercial price when compared to the synthetic ones.

  • Critical current(Ic) degradation of HTS tapes and AC loss under mechanical load is one of the hottest issues in HTS development and application. Mechanical load reduces the critical current of superconducting wire, and the Ie degradation affects the AC loss of the wire. We measured the Ie degradation and AC loss under tension and bending of Bi-2223 tapes processed by "Powder-in-Tube" technique at 17K with self-field. And we have studied the frequency dependence of self-field AC loss in multi-filamentary Bi-2223/Ag tape at 77K. The measurement results and discussions on the relationship between Ic degradation and AC loss are presented.

  • In this paper, an approach to designing controllers for dynamic hybrid Tension/Mobile control of a installed robot for a troy wire cable is presented. Mobile control system of robot is designed based on equation of dc motor and tension control system is designed based on equation of ac servomotor for generating torque and dynamic equation of a wire cable. Dynamic hybrid control system is proposed by feedforward controller with acceleration and tension at start of robot to the case where the tow task of robot dynamics is suppressed a mutual interference. The proposed system is simulated and experimented, results is verified the utilities.

  • Metal electrode materials for plasma display panel should have low electrical resistivity in order to maintain stable gas discharge and have fast response time. They should also hae good film uniformity adhesion and thermal stability. In this study Cr/Cu/Cr metal electrode structure is formed by DC magnetron sputtering. Cr and Cu films were deposited on ITO coated glasses with various DC power density and main pressures as the major parameters. After metal electrodes were formed a heat treatment was followed at 55$0^{\circ}C$ for 20 min in a vacuum furnace. The intrinsic stress of the sputtered Cr film passed a tensile stress maximum decreased and then became compressive with further increasing DC power density. Also with increasing the main pressure stress turned from compression to tension. After heat the treatment the electrical resistivity of the sputtered Cu film of 2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in thickness prepared at 1 motor with the applied power density of 3.70 W/cm$^2$was 2.68 $\mu$$\Omega$.cm With increasing the main pressure the DC magnetron sputtered Cu film became more open structure. The heat treatment decreased the surface roughness of the sputtered Cr/Cu/Cr metal electrodes.

  • Superconductor is developed for applications in high-power devices such as power-transmission cables, transformers, motor and generators. In such applications, HTS tapes are subjected to various kinds of stress or strain. In the fabrication of the devices, the critical current (Ic) of the high temperature superconductor degrades due to many reasons including the tension applied by bending, twist and thermal contraction. In particular manufactured HTS cable, we need pitch angle controls. This paper is analyzed that Ic characteristics is changed pitch angle of HTS tape. These results will amount the most important basis data in HTS cable.

  • The efficiency of such work highly depend on the worker's safety, who is protected by tools such as gloves, sleeves, blankets and flexible coverings among other manufactured natural-rubber goods. Use, storage and maintenance of these tools guarantee the quality and durability of the material. However, it might be observed that good tools made of such material are disapproved of when received from manufacturers or when they are removed from the warehouse for replacement.   • Earth brush for electrical multiple units(EMUs) is a device through which the current of the EMU load's consumed power fed from the DC 1,500V overhead line (or from the AC 25.000V catenary) flows via axle to the rail(ground) and which prevents the electric corrosion of the axle bearings by preventing the current flow to the axle bearings caused by electric potential from the magnetic field when the bearings rotate together with the earthing function when a thunderbolt falls or a surge comes. The earth brush wear rates among cars, however, shows quite differences when the earth brushes after being separated from the holders are measured with vernier callipers every 6 months of maintenance period. Main causes of the earth brush wear are divided as mechanical, electric arc and electrical one, and the factors can be running speed, current, harmonics, connection state. spring tension, earth brush material, lubricant and so on. but only the earth brushes of the motor(M1) car show the highest wear rate and moreover maintenance difficulty occurs because of the wear rate differences among e earth brushes in one holder. The reason for these preponderant wear comes from the design concept of making preponderant current flow to some particular earth brushes and moreover the heat generated by the harmonics when the inverter starts to operate accelerate the wear. By defining these causes through experiments. I hope that the found results would be helpful for the future EMU design, safety, economy and maintenance.

  • The influence of measuring fixtures on the measurement of dielectric and piezoelectric properties of PMN-PT single crystal specimens was investigated. As the pressure of the jig pin which applied the AC electrical signal to the sample decreased, the lower resonance resistance was measured and the higher mechanical quality factor was calculated. The mechanical quality factor was 418 when the spring tension of the jig pin was 20grf, and the value of the quality factor was reduced by half when the spring tension was 200grf. The 4-probe fixture method is unsuitable for measuring piezoelectric properties, but it was suitable for the measurement of dielectric loss. In order to accurately evaluate the piezoelectric properties of PMN-PT, it is necessary to lower the spring tension of the jig pin as much as possible.
