The aim of the present experiments was to investigate the effect of Yukmijihwangtang water extracts on the plasma renin activity and plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide and aldosterone in rats. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Plasma renin activity decreased significantly after the administration of Yukmijihwangtang water extracts 1.5ml/kg. 2. Plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) decreased significantly after the administration of Yukmijihwangtang water extracts. 3. Plasma levels of aldosterone increased significantly after the administration of Yukmijihwangtang water extract.

This paper studies six different AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) approaches and suggests that the features of the approaches are classified by application circumstances in order to contribute to the applicability and quality usage of the AHP. Our study investigates the hierarchical principles and characteristics of the AHP, and historical debates on the AHP evaluation in which the six approaches have been involved. One of six approaches is an ANP (Analytic Network Process) application that is directly connected to AHP usage. The application differences among the six approaches are validated with a plain example. Then, the four circumstances of AHP applications are classified by two dimensions: the first dimension is whether or not the importance (weights) of criteria is independent of restrictively setting alternatives, and the second dimension is whether or not preference (priorities) of alternatives is independent of adding alternative(s) to or removing alternative(s) from the considering set of alternatives. Then featuring way of weighting criteria is classified. We suggest the distinguishing manners and describe the implications of the AHP application. Finally, we discuss rank reversal and multiplicative AHP.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Shudihuang water extracts on the cGMP production of medulla and cortical membranes, receptors for atrial natriuretic peptide in the kidney by in vitro autoradiography in rats for 8, 16 weeks. The cGMP production of medullary and cortical membranes of the kidney decreased after the administration of Shudihuang water extracts. The density of receptors for atrial natriuretic peptide in the kidney decreased after the administration of Shudihuang water extracts only for 16 weeks. These results suggest that the long term administration of Shudihuang water extracts has decreased plasma renin activity and plasma levels of aldosterone modulated cGMP production of medullary and cortical membranes, density of receptors for atrial natriuretic peptide in the kidney.

Nauplii and cyprid la%ae were cultured in the laboratory at a temperature of 25'c of 33 parts per thousand. La%al development includes the six nauplius and a cyprn'dstages. Morphological characteristics such as antennules, antennae and mandibles as well as the general pattern of the thoracican Cirripedia are described and illustrated. All the nauplius larvae have trilobed labra which are typical in balanoides, with numerous slender hairs. It is possible to compare the setation of larva of Balanus kondakoui with those of B. albicostatus, B. amphitrr'te, 9. trigonus, B. uariegatus, and Chthamafus rhallengerl' by plotting of numerical setation of the antennae against the mandibles.

The aim of this experiments was to investigate the effect of Lycii Fructus water extracts on the blood pressure, plasma renin activity and plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide in two-kidney one clip Goldblatt hypertensive rats. Systolic blood pressure was decreased significantly after administration of Lycii Fructus water extracts. Plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide was increased significantly after adminstration of Lycii Fructus water extracts. Plasma renin activity was not changed after adminstration of Lycii Fructus water extracts. Thease results suggested that the depressor response after adminstration of Lycii Fructus water extracts were related with the changes of the plasma levels of atrial natriuretic peptide.

A strategic decision making needs a sound process modeling to find out the right path of organizational changes; however, dynamic feedback processes involved in a real world business, make it difficult to predict the outcomes of strategic decisions. In this paper, we present a conceptual framework to facilitate strategic decision making process for organizational changes. The framework, which employs the concepts of analytic network process (ANP) and system dynamics (SD), can be used to prioritize various projects under consideration and to make a long-term strategic plan in a constructive manner.

Today the usage of DB already becomes an important issue for many companies' survival. Especially, the companies which have adopted CRM could not gain the return to be expected because of the lack of understanding about the relationship with customers. Professor Schmitt introduced 'the complete CEM(Customer Experience Management) model', but no specific methodology for analysis was introduced. Therefore, in this study we use HOQ, GA, and ANP to build 'the complete CEM model' and present the integrated CEM model based on the integrated analytic process to help the company's decision about the stage to be begun first out of 5 stages of CEM and the priorities of investment in customer experiences.

In industry, several casting process are widely used to manufacture complex and accurate blank part of hard materials such as aluminum, casting steels, bronze and magnesium alloys which are difficult to manufacture in a blank shape. Even if the casting process does not high accuracy superior surface characteristics other machining process, the casting process is widely used in manufacturing blank part. Furthermore, it is difficult to select appropriate casting process a part among several casting process. for effective selection different process, a careful decision given casting application is necessary. An appropriate casting for a given material and shape condition must be selected for novice engineers in industry. In this paper, an expert system based on an analytic network process(ANP) is suggested for best selection of casting considering a prior interdependency effect among various factors such as material, geometry, process capability, economy and equipment.

This study suggests a new approach for identifying core robot tech-nologies based on technological cross-impact. Specifically, the approach applies data mining techniques and multi-criteria decision-making methods to the co-classification information of registered patents on the robots. First, a cross-impact matrix is constructed with the confidence values by applying association rule mining (ARM) to the co-classification information of patents. Analytic network process (ANP) is applied to the co-classification frequency matrix for deriving weights of each robot technology. Then, a technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is employed to the derived cross-impact matrix and weights for identifying core robot technologies from the overall cross-impact perspective. It is expected that the proposed approach could help robot technology managers to formulate strategy and policy for technology planning of robot area.
