  • Google Maps have changed the response time of Web-GIS using AJAX technologies. In addition, Google released the Open API named Google Maps API(Application Programming Interface) and it lead to the big paradigm on the Open API, where the SDK(Software Development Kit) and ASP(Application Service Provider) had ruled at the related map market. In short, the Open API has been paradigm-shifting for the web mapping. After this, government, many companies and open source foundations have guided Web-GIS market's growth through releasing the relevant Open APIs. So many comparative analysis on web-mapping API carried out by many researches. However there were no researches that can be applied to our current domestic environments. This paper investigates components of web-mapping API. Then we compare how many components supported and enumerate features for each of those APIs. Finally this paper presents direction of future development of Web Mapping API.

ISOLATION OF THE BACTERIA INHIBITING THE FORMATION OF PLAQUE (치태형성 억제세균의 분리)

  • The insoluble glucan is the major substance of dental plaque. In order to isolate the bacteria inhibiting the formation of insoluble glucan in disposable cuvette, saliva was got from about 10 thousand children. The isolated bacteria were tested by API 20S kit and API 50 CHL kit. These bactreia were identified as Streptococcus oralis, Streptococcus mitis, Streptococcus mitior, Streptococcus sanguis, Enterococcus durans, Lactococcus lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus. When Streptococcus mutans was cultured with Streptococcus oralis, Streptococcus mitis, Streptococcus mitior, Streptococcus sanguis, Enterococcus durans, Lactococcus lactis, or Lactobacillus acidophilus in disposable cuvette, the optical density at 550 nm was 0.823, 0.912, 0.894, 0.878, 0.753, 0.845, 1.021 respectively, while being 1.503 in the disposable cuvette culturing Streptococcus mutans only.

  • 개방형 서비스개발자들은 SCE(service Creation Environment) 도구를 사용하여 망에 대한 전문적인 지식이 없더라도 예전보다 쉽고 빠르게 서비스를 개발할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 툴킷 라이브러리 형태의 SCE를 제공하는 방법을 제안한다. SCE 툴킷 라이브러리는 SCE를 SDK((Software Development Kit) 형태로 제공한다. 이는 기존의 IDE(Integrated Development Environment) 환경에 라이브러리 형식으로 SCE 기능을 추가할 수 있게 함으로써, 개발자가 기존에 사용하던 친숙한 환경에서 서비스를 개발할 수 있도록 해준다. 또한 Parlay X API, 웹 2.0 API, 유틸리티 API를 제공하는데 있어서 복잡한 API 및 파라미터를 추상화하여 제공하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 SCE 툴킷 라이브러리는 창조적인 새로운 서비스의 출현에 많은 기여를 할 것으로 전망된다.

  • The WL6 strain isolated from Kimchi could not be made scientific name because it was identified as three species, i.e., Leuconostoc mesenternides ssp cremoris, Leu. mesenteroides ssp. dextranicum or Lactobacillus bifermentans when it was tested by API kit or Biolog system methods. The unidentifiable WL6 strain was finally reclassified as Lactobacillus bifermentans by genetic identification using two PCR-based specific sequence primer sets which were originated from homologous pepN and 16S rRNA genes.

Isolation and Identification of Vibrio Species Contaminated in Imported Frozen Seafoods (수입냉동 어패류에 오염되어 있는 Vibrio속 세균의 분리 및 동정)

  • Twenty-four Vibrio strains were isolated from imported frozen seafoods and identified according to their physiological and biochemical properties. They included two V cholerae non-01 sp., two V. diazotrophicus sp., one V. hollisae sp., five V. natriegens sp., eight V. fluvialis sp., and four V. nereis sp.. Two of them were not identified as Vibrio species. When these strains were tested using API-2OE kit fur identification, however, only the results for two V. cholerae and five of the V. fluvialis strains matched the results obtained previously. Due to the importance of detecting V cholerae from foods, phylogenetic identification of the strains was attempted based on restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of the 16S rDNAs amplified by PCR. The results suggested that the two strains had identical RFLP patterns which were more closely related to that of V. proteolyticus than V. cholerae. The problems associated with identification of pathogens originated from seafoods demand development of accurate and rapid identification methods.

An Identification of Enterobacter sp. Isolated from Contaminated Ginseng and Inhibition Effect of Ginseng Saponin on Its Growth (오염된 인삼으로부터 분리된 Enterobacter sp.의 동정 및 인삼사포닌의 균 생육억제효과)

  • A bacterium isolated from contaminated white ginseng was indentified by using API kit and electron microscope. The isolate was determined as rod shaped bacterium having 0.6-1.0 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in diameter and 1.2-3.0 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in length. It had motility by flagellum. The isolate had $\beta$-galactosidase, arginine dihydrolase and omithin decarboxylase. It used citrate as sole carbon source but not produced H$_2$S. It also fermented glucose, manitol, sorbitol, rhamnose, sucrose, melibiose, arabinose and amygdalin. The isolate was identified as Enterobacter sp by the above API kit analysis and electron microscopy observation. Ginseng saponin was added to culture of Enterobacter sp. in order to investigate saponin's influence on its growth. The strain was incubated at 38$^{\circ}C$ for 3 days after addition of 0.05, 0.5, 2.0 and 4.0% (w/v) of saponin, respectively and the growth rates were investigated. The relative bacterial growth rates showed 75.0, 37.5, 7.5 and 0.5%, respectively, when compared with 100% of saponin non-added group. These results suggest that the growth of Enterobacter sp. is inhibited by saponin with the concentration dependency.

Geographical comparison on different methods for identification of Streptococcus parauberis isolated from cultured olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus (양식 넙치에서 분리한 Streptococcus parauberis의 동정방법에 따른 지역적 비교)

  • Non-hemolytic Streptococcus parauberis isolated from diseased olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus in the South coast of Korea were identified by physiological, biochemical and genetic analysis in order to define the different characteristics geographically. First, twelve strains of S. parauberis were isolated from catalase-negative gram-positive cocci by multiplex PCR assay. Phenotypic identifications were performed with commercially available kit (API 20 Strep and API ZYM system). Analysis of API profiles of the isolates showed that strains were identified as either of Lactococcus lactis, S. constellatus or S. uberis. Moreover, S. parauberis isolated from olive flounder differed from that of turbot (X89967) to the test of not Voges-Proskauer, arginine, hippurate, alkiline phosphatase and pyrroidonyl arylamidase but β-glucuronidase. All S. parauberis isolates were sensitive to florfenicol, ampicillin, ofloxacin and vancomycin but were resistant to oxolinic acid, flumequine, nalidixic acid and sulfisoxazol. However, the 16S rDNA sequences of the isolates showed 99% similarity to S. parauberis KCTC 3651 (AY584477) and a great homogenecity among the flounder isolates.

Properties of Enterococcus faecium isolated from the intestineof slaughting pigs (도축돈 장관에서 분리한 Enterococcus faeciurnab 특성)

  • The growth characteristics and the properties of the Enterococcus faecium (E. faecium) isolated from intestine of slaughting pig were examined in order to confirm whether it will be used practically as probiotics or not. E. faecium was identified by morphological and biochemical tests including of final confirming by API strep kit. Among 264 samples, 44 isolates (16.7%) of E. faecium were observed as an exellent growth as a range of $1{\times}10^7CFU/ml{\sim}3.3{\times}10^9CFU/ml$ in viable bacterial count on MRI medium. All isolates were shown non-haemolysis on the blood agar exception of 28 isolates shown ${\alpha}$-haemolysis and were identified as E. faecium by biochemical test using API strep enzyme kits. Eight strains (18.2%) were finally selected from which they were excellent sensitivity in showing of the acid-tolerance and the bile-tolerance in compare with reference strain.

Isolation and identification of Lactobacillus inhibiting the production of halitosis by anaerobic bacteria (구취를 유발하는 혐기성 세균의 증식을 억제하는 유산 간균의 분리 및 동정)

  • There are normal inhabitants doing medically useful functions in the body. There are many kinds of bacteria performing specific functions in the oral cavity. Two strains of lactic acid bacteria were isolated from normal inhabitants of children 's oral cavity, which inhibited the the production of halitosis by anaerobic bacteria. The authors identified the isolates by the lest using API 50 CHL medium kit. 1. Two isolates were Gram-positive bacilli and produced hydrogen peroxide. 2. The optical density was 1.286 in the supernatant of Fusobacterium nucleatum after vortexing for 30 minutes, whereas in the supernatant of combined Fusobacterium nucleatum and each isolate, they were reduced to 0.628 and 0.497, which the percentages of coaggregation between them were 29.4% and 57.8%, respectively. 3. The optical density of Fusobacterium nucleatum precipitate was 1.794 in the culture media containing cysteine and $FeSO_4$, being reduced to 1.144 and 0.915 in the coaggregated precipitates of Fusobacterium nucleatum and each isolate. 4. The optical density of Porphyromonas gingivalis precipitate was 1.932 in the culture media, being reduced to 1.170 and 1.266 in the coaggregated precipitates of Porphyromonas gingivalis and each isolate. 5. When two isolates were tested with API 50 CHL medium kit, those were identified as Lactobaciallius salivarius and Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis.

  • 한국정보통신기술협회(이하,TTA)에서는 "HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼(TTAK.KO-07.0111/R2)"표준(이하, 스마트 TV 2.0 표준)을 2016 년 6 월에 개정하였으며, 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 2.0 표준을 준수하여 개발되는 스마트 TV 용 앱 개발도구(SDK, Software Development Kit)의 두 가지 확장 내용을 다룬다. 첫 번째 확장 내용은 스마트 TV 2.0 표준이 개정됨에 따라 추가되는 기능인 고급입력 API, 녹화 및 다운로드 API 인터페이스를 확인하고 검증할 수 있는 검증기능 구현에 대한 내용이며, 두 번째 확장 내용은 표준기반 TV 애뮬레이터를 스마트 TV 앱 개발도구에서 사용 가능하게 하는 인터페이스 구현에 대한 내용이다. 본 논문에서는 표준기반 서비스를 만드는 개발자에 대한 지원과 표준기반 TV 앱 생태계의 활성화를 위한, 스마트 TV 플랫폼 표준 앱 개발도구 확장기능의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 소개한다.
