Actual construction data are unsystematically handled and uselessly hoarded after completion of the project although actual construction data can be applied to the various works of the future projects. Many researches have been carried out by several engineers and scholars of construction firms and research institutes, but the level of the application is not plausible yet. The objective of this paper is to propose a web-based data model and application system for commercial buildings in order to enhance the usability of the actual construction data on line. The principal factors of commercial building project data and the user$^{\circ}{\phi}s$ requirements in various areas, such as planning, design, procurement and construction and so on are analyzed to implement the database structure of the proposed system. The application of resource Information focused on cost, manpower, equipment is included in the system, which is expected to enhances the usability of actual database application system compared with other researches proposed so far.

High strength concrete increasingly used in various countries. Recently, great attetion is also paid to the high strength concrete in this country. To promote the actual application of high strength concrete, several series of high strength concrete have been made and applied to actual structures. The mechanical properties and the temperature rise due to generation of hydration heat have been also studied. The present study provides a firm base for the actual application of high strength concrete in the field.

High durabitiy concrete increasingly sutudied in various countries. This report presents the data on durability related properties such as the chloride ion permeability, the resistance to freezing-thawing, the corrosion of steel and the resistance attack. To promote the actual application of high durability concrete, several series of high durability concrete have been made and applied to actual structures.

It is evident that the education of architecture is being transformed under the influence of technological, environmental, social, and financial challenges. BIM application for design education is innovative responses that are expected to provide the high ground for the AEC industry. So the purpose of this paper introduces that application of BIM for design education of students is efficiency and effectiveness through an actual experiment by elementary school project. The results by actual experiment elaborate the role of BIM in architectural education and its appropriate place in the curriculum. Also they state that increasingly complex nature of professional world that is reliant on design teams, joint development efforts, and more complex design projects makes obsolete the designer who is trained as solo artist engaging in competitive and individual pursuits.

This paper describes the up-grade of the turbine governor for steam turbine due to its poor operation from long time use. The analog type governor of the unit 1 in Kori nuclear power plant in Korea was removed and the new digital type turbine governor was developed and installed. The procedure for the actual application, site adaptability test using dynamic simulator and the result of actual operation are described here. And the program for nuclear steam turbine is suggested here.

This study investigates the factors influencing the usage of PSAU Mobile Application by the students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU). This study used Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a framework to predict the factors influencing 67 students' usage of PSAU M-Application. The results of this study were consistent with the TAM framework in predicting the actual usage of the PSAU mobile application for academic activities. The results indicated a significantly positive association of the perceived ease-to-use with perceived usefulness, significantly positive associations of the perceived ease-to-use and the perceived usefulness with the attitude toward the usage of the PSAU's mobile application, a significantly positive association of the perceived usefulness with the behavioral intention toward the usage of the PSAU's mobile application, a significantly positive association of the students' attitude toward the usage of the PSAU's mobile application with the behavioral intention of using the application, and a significantly positive association of the behavioral intention with the actual usage of the PSAU's mobile application. The results of this study should be useful to educational policymakers at PSAU University and elsewhere, as there is an opportunity to enhance the existing technology or adopt new technologies for academic activities.

This study describes neural network based dissolved gas analysis using composition patterns of gas concentrations for transformer fault diagnosis. DGA samples were gathered from related literatures and classified into six types of faults and then a neural network was trained using the DGA samples. Diagnosis tests were performed by the trained neural network with DGA samples of serviced transformers, fault causes of which were identified by actual inspection. Diagnosis results by the neural network were in good agreement with actual faults.

In the real environment, it is not easy to get the effective training or to simulate several hazard situations for safety because of the direct exposure to the hazards of the actual system. But the virtual environment(VE) can help the users to get the effective training or to simulate all kind of possible situations without the exposure to the harzards of the actual system. Therefore, the number of virtual reality(VR) application for safety will be increased dramatically in the future. This paper proposes a category of VR applications and also the steps to develope the VE for emergency management.

The bottom slab of Inchon LNG in-ground #213 tank is designed as a massive structure witch has a large depth and section. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum mix design having good workability and low hydration heat for bottom slab concrete and to control the actual concrete quality in site. For this purpose, we select the optimum mix design used ternary blended cement(furnace slag cement＋fly ash) and design factors. As test results of actual application, we have finish placing the bottom slab concrete of 23,180㎥ during 68hours with good success and obtain the good quality of fresh and hardened concrete including slump, air contents, no-segregation, compressive strength and low hydration heat in actual data. All test results are satisfied with our specifications for bottom slab concrete and we cut costs as the use of ternary blended cement and the reduction of placing hours.
