The purpose of this study was to examine the changes of kitchen space based on the additional functions since 1960s'. The review of literature was performed to accomplish the purpose. The changes of paradigm of kitchen space due to the social, technological, cultural factors had made the additional functions of kitchen more complicated, and further, resulted in changes of floor plans of housing as well as kitchen space.

This paper introduces the additional remote monitoring and remote setting functions needed to operate the distribution automation system effectively. we compare the additional functions with the old functions. The remote setting of minimum trip value of fault indicator is an example of additional function. It saves time and line-man's power. Also this paper describes the data transmission flow diagram for operation of distribution automation system using wireless communication method.

Kitchen has been an essential space and plays an important role in the house regardless of culture and regional differences. However, due to social and economical changes, kitchen is no longer used only for preparing food and dining which seem to be a traditional function. The purpose of this study is to investigate the additional functions of the kitchen and figure out the related variables. The survey method was used to collect data from 321 housewives living in the apartment sized over 99$\textrm{m}^2$(30 pyung) in Ulsan. The data were analyzed by SPSS/$PC^+$ with frequency, percent, and chi-squared test. The results of this study were: (1) Kitchen was now used for eating snacks(45.6%), keeping household account(42.5%), and chatting(41.6%). (2) Homemakers wanted to do laundry such as ironing, drying clothes, and folding clothes in the kitchen. However, there were several activities(i.e., grooming, rest and taking a nap, exercise) they do not want to do in the kitchen. (3) The variables which related to the additional functions of the kitchen were size of the apartment, age, and level of education. The findings of this study imply that there must be design considerations for chatting and keeping household account such as providing tables and comfortable chairs. In addition, new counter layout types should be developed based on needs of additional functions and related variables.

An alternative interpretation of the completeness requirements for the higher order elements is presented. Apart from the familiar condition, $\sum_iN_i=1$, some additional conditions to be satisfied by the shape functions of higher order elements are identified. Elements with their geometry in the natural form, i.e., without any geometrical distortion, satisfy most of these additional conditions inherently. However, the geometrically distorted elements satisfy only fewer conditions. The practical implications of the satisfaction or non-satisfaction of these additional conditions are investigated with respect to a 3-node bar element, and 8- and 9-node quadrilateral elements. The results suggest that non-satisfaction of these additional conditions results in poorer performance of the element when the element is geometrically distorted. Based on the new interpretation of completeness requirements, a 3-node element and an 8-node rectangular element that are insensitive to mid-node distortion under a quadratic displacement field have been developed.

Recently several authors have extended the Beta function by using its integral representation. However, in many cases no expression of these extended functions in terms of classic special functions is known. In the present paper, we introduce a further extension by defining a family of functions G_r,s : ℝ^*₊ → ℂ, with r, s ∈ ℂ and ℜ(r) > 0. For given r, s, we prove that this function satisfies a second-order linear differential equation with rational coefficients. Solving this ODE, we express G_r,s as a combination of confluent hypergeometric functions. From this we deduce a new integral relation satisfied by Tricomi's function. We then investigate additional specific properties of G_r,1 which take the form of new non trivial integral relations involving exponential and error functions. We discuss the connection between G_r,1 and Stokes' first problem (or Rayleigh problem) in fluid mechanics which consists in determining the flow created by the movement of an infinitely long plate. For $r{\in}{\frac{1}{2}}{\mathbb{N}}^*$, we find additional relations between G_r,1 and Hermite polynomials. In view of these results, we believe the family of extended beta functions G_r,s will find further applications in two directions: (i) for improving our knowledge of confluent hypergeometric functions and Tricomi's function, (ii) and for engineering and physics problems.

BPEL은 웹 서비스와 상호작용하는 워크플로우 언어의 표준으로서 다양한 응용에서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 특정 응용에서는 BPEL에 없는 추가적인 기능이 요구되어 적용하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 관점지향(aspect-oriented) 프로그래밍 기법을 이용하여 BPEL 엔진에 새로운 기능을 추가할 수 있는 시스템을 보인다. BPEL에 새로운 기능을 동적으로 추가하기 위해 새로운 기능을 기술할 수 있는 JWX 문서를 정의하고, 이를 BPEL에 적용하기 위한 관점지향 프로그래밍 기법의 시스템을 제안한다. JWX 문서는 BPEL 문서에 새로운 기능을 추가하기 위하여 자바 프로그램을 기술할 수 있는 XML 기반의 문서이다. 관점지향 프로그래밍 기법은 핵심적인 요구사항과 부가적인 요구사항 사이의 낮은 결합도를 보장하고 있으므로 기존의 프로그램을 수정하지 않고 기능을 추가할 수 있다. 또한 본 시스템은 B2J라는 BPEL 엔진을 관점지향 프로그래밍 기법을 통해 확장하여, 자바 프로그램과 JWX 문서의 새로운 기능 프로그램을 직조하고 실행시킨다. 이 방법을 이용하면, B2J가 제공하는 BPEL의 기능은 그대로 사용하면서 새로운 기능만 개발하여 적은 노력과 비용으로 기능이 추가된 BPEL 엔진을 개발할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 현재 BPEL이 제공하고 있지 않은 조건을 처리할 수 있는 규칙엔진을 BPEL에 추가하거나, 상황인지 환경에 사용할 수 있는 BPEL 워크플로우 시스템을 연구하는데 이용할 수 있다.

We propose a new framework that aims at multi-purpose image recognition, a difficult task for the conventional rule-based systems. This framework is farmed based on the idea of computer-based learning algorithm. In this research, we introduce the new functions of an additional learning and a knowledge reconstruction on the Fuzzy Inference Neural Network (FINN) (1) to enable the system to accommodate new objects and enhance the accuracy as necessary. We examine the capability of the proposed framework using two examples. The first one is the capital letter recognition task from UCI machine learning repository to estimate the effectiveness of the framework itself, Even though the whole training data was not given in advance, the proposed framework operated with a small loss of accuracy by introducing functions of the additional learning and the knowledge reconstruction. The other is the scenery image recognition. We confirmed that the proposed framework could recognize images with high accuracy and accommodate new object recursively.

The Element-free Galerkin Method has become a very popular tool for the simulation of mechanical problems with moving boundaries. The internally applied Moving Least Squares interpolation uses in general Gaussian or cubic weighting functions and has compact support. Due to the approximative character of this interpolation the obtained shape functions do not fulfill the interpolation conditions, which causes additional numerical effort for the application of the boundary conditions. In this paper a new weighting function is presented, which was designed for meshless shape functions to fulfill these essential conditions with very high accuracy without any additional effort. Furthermore this interpolation gives much more stable results for varying size of the influence radius and for strongly distorted nodal arrangements than existing weighting function types.

본 논문에서는 하이브리드 망 환경에서 부가데이터 서비스를 제공하기 위해 Mobile MMT를 기반으로 하는 송수신 구조를 설계한다. Mobile MMT는 차세대 멀티미디어 전송 프로토콜인 MMT의 확장된 표준이다. MMT는 IP를 기반으로 방송 통신이 융합된 방송시스템에서 멀티미디어를 효율적으로 전송하며, 다양한 형태의 데이터 전송 및 양방향 서비스를 지원하기 위한 기술들을 정의한다. Mobile MMT는 기존 MMT 기술을 기반으로 모바일 망에 특화된 기능을 제공하기 위해 확장된 기능을 추가로 정의한다. 이를 이용하여 본 논문에서는 방송망을 통해 전달받은 콘텐츠와 관련된 부가데이터와 단말정보와 관련된 교통, 날씨, 여행자정보 등의 부가데이터를 수신받을 수 있는 부가데이터 서비스 시나리오와 부가데이터의 송수신 구조를 설계하고 제안한다.

In this paper, some limit functions of the iteration of the skew product in the stable sets are investigated, which is associated with finitely generated semigroup for the class M, under some additional conditions.
