In this paper, we have proposed a novel method which can analysis the direction finding ambiguity analysis for array geometry in 3 channel and 4 channel multiple baseline direction finding system. Generally, the direction finding ambiguity in the 3 element and 4 element phase interferometer direction finding system is calculated by the simulation for the array spacing or by the probability with the selected antenna array spacing. There are some restrictions to obtain the ambiguity of direction finding system in these methods. The former performs a simulation with every antenna array spacing and the latter calculates the ambiguity with the selected antenna array spacing. To overcome those restrictions, This paper proposed the novel method to calculate the ambiguity using the imaginary antenna array spacing and the phase difference prior to the modular operation in direction finder. Using the proposed method, we obtain the ambiguity probability for each of array geometry composed of multiple baseline. After performing the simulation with the selected antenna array spacing to verify the proposed method, we compared the calculated result data with the simulation data.

Background: The purpose of this study was to identify role ambiguity of comprehensive nursing care unit nurses. Methods: A concept analysis method by Walker and Avant was used to understand role ambiguity of comprehensive nursing care unit nurses. Results: The antecedents of role ambiguity of nurses at comprehensive nursing units were shortage of nurses, unclear admission criteria, and demands for customized nursing care according to severity. Attributes include ambiguity in role delegation, patient placement ambiguity, and professional ambiguity among nursing staff. The consequences were diminished job satisfaction due to excessive workload, difficulty in resolving role ambiguity due to the lack of work analysis studies, and poor outcome of nursing indicators. Conclusion: Improvement of nationwide awareness for comprehensive nursing care unit is required. Clear division at scope of practice for nursing staff in accordance of each medical institution's characteristics is essential. Nurses at comprehensive nursing care unit should understand nature of role ambiguity that occurs as they work in large groups. Nurses should promote communications between nursing staff and they must have volition to improve status quo. An additional research of comprehensive nursing care on the causes of role ambiguity in the practice of nursing care for ward nurses is needed, and management measures should be sought at the organizational level.

To improve the competitiveness of the hospital provides high quality medical services in a hospital coordinator role is emphasized. This study on customer orientation of the role ambiguity in order to identify the impact of degree of customer orientation were analyzed for demographic differences. Dependent variable, customer orientation affects role ambiguity as independent variables, and regression analysis were set. And the control variables are set to support situational factors, customer orientation on the role ambiguity and hierarchical regression analysis was performed. Obtained through empirical results are as follows: First, according to the demographic characteristics of the hospital coordinator customer orientation, the difference between gender and medical subjects are not shown. Age, education, work experience, job title, and the hospital on the pattern of customer orientation has shown a difference. Second, according to the hospital coordinator role ambiguity about its impact on customer orientation analysis can be a role implementation, job implementation, opinion communication in achieving customer orientation was negatively affected. Third, role ambiguity, and customer orientation factors for the moderating effects of organizational support for the role of customer orientation can role implementation, job implementation, opinion communication was a statistically significant. Fourth, the role ambiguity factors and customer orientation for the administrative support for the moderating effect of customer orientation and role implementation is significant, but job implementation, opinion communication were statistically significant. Fifth, the role ambiguity factors and customer support for customer orientation and customer orientation for the moderating effects of role performance and the opinion communication was not statistically significant. However, job implementation was statistically significant. The limitations of this study are as follows: First, role ambiguity, situational factors and support due to limitations of the variable factors that may affect the customer orientation of a number of factors were excluded. So many exogenous variables in the measurement process can affect. Second, the variables measured as problems of self-assessment by the variable measuring the respondent's bias may occur. Third, This study is difficult to generalize. In other words, several areas of the province conducted by the empirical results of the survey as a limit on the overall generalization can follow.

In order to analyze the organizational performance of government-funded research institutes, four independent variables (organization size, organization age, evaluation system, organization location) and goal ambiguity were empirically analyzed. Although there are existing studies on institutional evaluation, which is the organizational performance of government-funded research institutes, there are differences in research in that it is an empirical analysis analyzed from the perspective of goal ambiguity and that the evaluation system, which is the specificity of institutional evaluation, is included in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, organizational location was the only independent variable that had a direct significant effect on organizational performance, and goal ambiguity showed a significant mediating effect for all independent variables. This indicates that goal ambiguity plays an important role in the organizational performance of government-funded research institutes, and to reduce this, increase the size of the organization, pay attention to establishment of the organization for organizational age, and that it is desirable to have an independent research group in the government department for the organization location. In addition, it was supported that the improvement effect of the evaluation system is proceeding in a desirable direction in terms of goal ambiguity.

The purpose of this research is to identify the structure among determining factors focusing on knowledge transfer and analyze and prove the causal relation on knowledge transfer in Korean companies and public corporations. The results from the analysis of data collected in this study are as follows. First, forum among organization related factors has the positive relation with uncertainty in a significant level. Second, the higher the knowledge presentation and the ease of use are among information systems related factors, the lower the ambiguity and uncertainty are. Third, among process related factors, unification has the negative relation with ambiguity and uncertainty in a significant level. Fourth, a better manpower employment contributes to a worse ambiguity and uncertainty. Fifth, ambiguity has a negative relation with knowledge transfer. In conclusion, the factors that lower the ambiguity and facilitate knowledge transfer include information systems, unification, and manpower employment. These factors, however, influence on uncertainty, which turns out to be nothing to do with knowledge transfer.

The purpose of this study is to explore how mathematics educators understand the terms having lexical ambiguity. Five terms with lexical ambiguity, leave, times, high, continuous, and convergent were selected based on literature review and recommendations of college calculus instructors. The participants consisted of four mathematics educators at a large Midwestern university. The qualitative data were collected from open-ended items in the survey. As a result of analysis, I provided participants' sentences with five terms showing their understanding of each term. The data analysis revealed that mathematics educators were not able to separate the meanings of the words such as leave and high when these words are frequently used in daily life, and the meanings in mathematics context are similar with that in daily context. Lexical ambiguity shown by mathematics educators can help mathematics teachers to understand the terms with lexical ambiguity and improve their instructions when those terms should be found in students' conversations.

The purpose of this study was to identify korean agricultural extension workers' Perception of role ambiguity according to restructuring of Agricultural Administrative Systems. The target population of this study was selected from 21 centers out of 156 centers. The subjects for study were 728 agricultural extension officers by the cluster sampling drawn from the sampled 21 agricultural extension centers in four clusters. A survey questionnaire was utilized to measure variables of this study. It consisted of role ambiguity scale and demographic items. In this study, role ambiguity scale was translated from the existing scale. Through a pilot test and final survey, reliability and validity of these scales were examined. The data were collected by mail. A total 420 questionnaires out of 728 from 21 agricultural extension centers were returned. After data cleaning, 410 responses were used for analysis. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were applied for data analysis. Major findings of the study were as follows. There were significant differences of the degree of role ambiguity among the local extension workers divided by four clusters. Especially, the degree of role ambiguity of restructured local administrative system were more higher than other clusters, comparatively. Thus, the factors causing the role ambiguity to agricultural extension officers need to be measured it in-depth.

The ambiguity resolution is an essential task for the precise carrier phase differential GPS. In practice, however, there are still many problems in resolving the ambiguity in kinematic mode, especially in the urban areas. The multipath in received signal, the frequent change in visible satellites, and the cyclic slips make the ambiguity resolution very difficult task in real-time operation. In this paper, we consider a differential positioning with the float ambiguity that is free from the integer constraint. The float ambiguity estimation if carried out by the Kalman filter. The float and fixed ambiguities are combined together to determine the position in real-time kinematic mode.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine the role function and personality characteristics of mentors on the role stress and organization effectiveness of newly-appointed dental hygienists. Methods : The data were analyzed by the frequency analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, and structured equation model(SEM) using AMOS 18.0. The subjects were 214 newly appointed dental hygienists in the hospitals and clinics in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province from January to May, 2013. Results : The hypothesis model proved to be appropriate for high validity. A significant results were observed in sociopsychological function and role ambiguity, personality characteristics and role ambiguity, role ambiguity and role conflict, role ambiguity and job satisfaction, role ambiguity and organization commitment, role ambiguity and turnover intention, and career function and organization commitment. Conclusions : It is important to help manage the job-related role stress of newly appointed dental hygienist and increase organizational effectiveness by developing and applying the 'standardized role functions of mentor' which can increase the adaptability of newly appointed dental hygienists.

Long-term GPS data analysis was performed in order to analyze the seasonal variation of tropospheric delay and the success rate of the ambiguity resolution. For this analysis, a total of 57 stations including 10 IGS stations in East Asia were processed together with double-differenced observables using Bernese GPS Software V5.0. The time span for this study ranges from 2002.0 to 2012.5 (10.5 years). The average baseline length is 339.0 km and the maximum reaches up to 2,000 km. The analysis is focused on two things: the annual variation of the tropospheric delay and the ambiguity resolution rate. The tropospheric delay is closely related to the weather condition, especially relative humidity, therefore it was estimated that the maximum would be in summer, while reaching its minimum in winter with the apparent seasonal variations. On the contrary, however, the success rate of the ambiguity resolution shows the opposite pattern: its maximum was in winter and minimum in summer. The fact seems to be induced by the surrounding conditions; that is, the trees thick with leaves near the GPS antenna interfere with GPS signals in summer. This seems to confirm partly that there is a distinct trend in the decreasing success rate since 2006 because the trees are growing every year. It is necessary to eliminate the factors that degrade the GPS quality and the tropospheric modeling for Korea needs to be studied further.
