A Suggestion of User Behavior analysis Framework (사용자 행동 분석 프레임워크 제안)

  • This study proposes and demonstrates the value of user - centered design methodology based on linguistic analysis. The results of the proposed user behavioural analysis framework suggested that the syntactic structure between the sentence structure and its components could be a logical basis for explaining the user's situation and behavior. Based on this, the definitions and classifications of user interactions and user contexts were conducted in a microscopically context. User behavior has also been established to identify pattern structures of purposeful nature and constitutes a user behavior sequence that prioritizes them. Next, the User Experience Analysis Framework was derived by defining the relationship between User Behavior and User Behavior and User Context and User Context. To verify the framework of the framework, a professional assessment was conducted to conduct a review of the user's experience and conduct a study of the framework of the framework and conduct of the framework of the framework of the framework and practical utility of the framework.   • The purpose of this study was pertinent design of the framework of the fixed bone anchored bridge using implants in the edentulous mandible through analysis of stress distribution by the three dimensional finite element analysis method. The results were as follows: 1. The L-shaped framework was favorable in restoring the edentulous mandible by implants and fixed bone anchored bridge. 2. The structure of the framework should be designed to endure the occlusal load because of stress concentration at the most distal abutment of the framework. 3. The stress at the distal implant where cantilever starts was twice as much as that of other portions. 4. Compressive stress was generated on the framework of the mesial side of the distal implant and extrusive force was induced to the mesially positioned implants. 5. The height of vertical plate was high as possible as can be to distribute stresses concentrating bucco-lingually and labio-lingually in the framework between abutments, 6. Reinforcement of the horizontal plate thickness was needed because stress was loaded more on the horizontal plate than on the vertical plate of the framework. 7. Lengthening of the vertical plate can compensate for any limitations in horizontal plate width.

Development of an Analysis Framework for Climate Change Education Programs for Elementary School Students Based on Communities (지역사회 기반 초등학생용 기후변화교육 프로그램 분석틀 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an analytical framework for the essential contents that must be included in a climate change education program for elementary school students based on community issues, which can be used by citizen instructors in the community. To develop the analytical framework, 24 climate environmental education specialists were consulted seven times. The content validity of the final analysis framework was statistically verified using I-CVI and S-CVI coefficients, and the reliability of the expert panel was verified using Fleiss' Kappa coefficient. The final analysis framework consists of three analytical areas (program objectives, program content, program evaluation), seven analysis items, seven analysis indicators, and detailed explanations of the analysis indicators. In particular, by adding detailed explanations for the analysis indicators, the content validity and reliability were increased, and the objective nature of the analysis framework was firmly established. It is expected that the proposed analytical framework for a community-based climate change education program for elementary school students in this study will contribute to the systematic development of the program by citizen instructors.

  • This paper introduces m analysis framework and procedure for the support of the cognitive error analysis of emergency tasks in nuclear poler plants. The framework provides a new perspective in the utilization of influencing factors into error prediction. The framework can be characterized by two features. First, influencing factors that affect the occurrence of human error me classified into three groups, i.e., task characteristic factors(TCF), situation factors(SF), and performance assisting factors(PAF). This classification aims to support error prediction from the viewpoint of assessing the adequacy of PAF under given TCF and SF. Second, the assessment of influencing factors is made by each cognitive function. Through this, influencing factors assessment and error prediction can be made in an integrative way according to each cognitive function. In addition, it helps analysts identify vulnerable cognitive functions and error factors, and obtain specific nor reduction strategies. The proposed framework was applied to the error analysis of the bleed and feed operation of nuclear emergency tasks.

  • Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) is an optimization technique considering simultaneously multiple disciplines such as dynamics, mechanics, structural analysis, thermal and fluid analysis and electromagnetic analysis. A software system enabling multidisciplinary design optimization is called MDO framework. An MDO framework provides an integrated and automated design environment that increases product quality and reliability, and decreases design cycle time and cost. The MDO framework also works as a common collaborative workspace for design experts on multiple disciplines. In this paper, we present the architecture for an MDO framework along with the requirement analysis for the framework. The requirement analysis has been performed through interviews of design experts in industry and thus we claim that it reflects the real needs in industry. The requirements include integrated design environment, friendly user interface, highly extensible open architecture, distributed design environment, application program interface, and efficient data management to handle massive design data. The resultant MDO framework is datasever-oriented and designed around a centralized data server for extensible and effective data exchange in a distributed design environment among multiple design tools and software.

  • The fast progress on multimedia data acquisition technologies has enabled collecting vast amount of videos in real time. Although the amount of information gathered from these videos could be high in terms of quantity and quality, the use of the collected data is very limited typically by human-centric monitoring systems. In this paper, we propose a framework for analyzing long traffic video using series of content-based analyses tools. Our framework suggests a method to integrate theses analyses tools to extract highly informative features specific to a traffic video analysis. Our analytical framework provides (1) re-sampling tools for efficient and precise analysis, (2) foreground extraction methods for unbiased traffic flow analysis, (3) frame property analyses tools using variety of frame characteristics including brightness, entropy, Harris corners, and variance of traffic flow, and (4) a visualization tool that summarizes the entire video sequence and automatically highlight a collection of frames based on some metrics defined by semi-automated or fully automated techniques. Based on the proposed framework, we developed an automated traffic flow analysis system, and in our experiments, we show results from two example traffic videos taken from different monitoring angles.

  • A standard framework of CFD(Computational Fluid dynamics) analysis for railway system has been developed to evaluate the overall aerodynamic performance of railway system and has been adopted to numerical simulation of the pressure field around KTX train. The framework is composed of standard aerodynamic model and standard aerodynamic performance to customize the general CFD solution process reflecting the characteristics of railway system such as various operation mode and performance factors. The results show that the standard framework of CFD analysis for railway system can provide objectivity and consistency to the CFD analysis for railway system and the pressure field around KTX train has been successively solved.

  • The national framework data is being constructed by the second plan of NGIS(National geographic information system). However, themes of national framework data are not reflecting various geographic information of marine that demand is increasing. Also, it is mean that national framework data did not consider concept of country which is integrate land and marine. Therefor, this study perform to organize marine framework data through analysis of overseas framework data, and present the composition of national framework data that land and marine are integrated through investigate relationship between national framework data and marine framework data.

  • A multi-agent and web based engineering framework concerning the automation of fatigue durability analysis for welded bogie frame of railway vehicles is presented. Mostly, this kind of design or analysis includes complex workflow, huge amounts of information processing, and problem solving. Macro programs of I-DEAS, APDL of ANSYS, and in-house fatigue code are utilized for parametric geometry representation, automatic mesh generation, static stress analysis, fatigue durability analysis, post-processing, and data sorting. The engineering framework is implemented on the JADE. Since every task requires a fairly complex process and specialized knowledge, the multi-agent based framework is very useful to keep the independency among several disciplines or tasks and to use distributed hardware and software resources. All engineering programs are integrated by XML wrapper. Related database of the engineering framework and web based user interfaces are also developed. A parametric study is carried out to take into account the effect of geometrical change of transom support bracket on its cumulative fatigue damage. The developed engineering framework reduced remarkably the time and costs required in designing and solving engineering problems.

A Comparative Analysis of Performance Assessment Tools for Establishing Evaluation Framework for Sustainable Buildings

  • Recently, the development of sustainable building assessment tools as means to invigorate the dissemination of sustainable buildings has been actively progressed. However, many assessment tools involve various problems in terms of assessment method and system framework, which greatly impede their credibility and applicability. If these problems persist over time, the role of sustainable building assessment tools as decision making measures during the design stage will be greatly limited. The objective of the study is to suggest a systematic model for sus- tainable building assessment tools by establishing a logical system of performance assessment framework. For this purpose, the Environmen- tal Impact Assessment(EIA) framework used in selected and modified to fit the building performance assessment. The analysis of performance assessment tools for sustainable buildings was conducted using the EIA framework. Based on the results of the analysis, a framework for the performance assessment of sustainable buildings was established.
