집합조직의 발전을 반영하는 다결정재의 정상상태성형공정해석 (Finite Element Analysis for Steady State Forming Process of Polycrystalline Metal Including Texture Development)

  • A process model is formulated considering the effect of crystallographic texture developed in forming process. The deformation induced plastic anisotropy can be predicted by capturing the evolution of texture during large deformation in the polycrystalline aggregate. The anisotropic stiffness matrix for the aggregate is derived and implemented in Eulerian finite element code using a Consistent Penalty method. As an application the evolution of texture in rolling drawing and extrusion processes are simulated. The numerical results show good agreements with report-ed experimental textures.

대형자연시료를 이용한 지반교란 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Soft Ground Distubance Characteristics by Large Block Sample)

  • In this paper, a ground disturbance effects, strength and consolidation characteristics of soft clay through using the large block samples($\theta$:300mm, H:400mm) and the piston samples, f hose which had been gathered in west coast and south coast. Especially, we have assessed the coefficient of horizontal consolidation when penetrating the mandrel considering the variance of ratio between diameter and height in drainage sample through the experiment of the oedometer test and Rowecell and also investigated the disturbance area in smear zone by interior model test, the strength originated by disturbance, the variance in characteristics of the consolidation. As the result, the large block sample has been investigated that ihe uniaxial compression test(qu) was shown bigger than the piston sample by about 11-19%. Under the size of anistropy in consolidation, the coefficient ratio of consolidation(ch/cv,) perfomed by standard consolidation test(SC) was shown bigger than that of (Cro/Cv) by the Rowecell test. And the coefficient ratio of consolidation(Cro/Cv) perfomed by piston sample was evaluated bigger than that Of (Cro/Cv) by the large block sample by about 0.9-1.9. The coefficient ratio of consolidation along with the variance in ratio of between diameter and height when penetrating the mandrel was shown big difference according to the characteristics of soil of the specimen. In addition, ds/dw of smear zone at the marine clay in west-south was ranged from 1.6 to 4.2. The width of variance in rat io[(qud)/(quud)] of strength n the area between disturbance and undisturbance was shown big as about 72-91% but the principle was judged with the similiar range when the decrease of the strength in smear zone become the zone under 25% in unditurbance area.

Anisortopy of the Silicon Nitride Prepared by Tape Casting

  • Silicon nitride ceramics with highly oriented microstructure were prepared by tape casting a slurry containing 5 wt% of the silicon nitride whiskers. The whiskers were aligned in the casting direction and worked as seeds for the grain growth. The anisotropy was observed from the sintering shrinkage, Vickers indentation crack lengths, and XRD patterns. The cracks were much longer on the surface normal to the aligned grains than on the tape casting surface where the lateral cracks were also observed. The effect of sintering additives and the annealing treatment on the indentation crack length was examined. The sample with higher silica content had longer cracks than the one with lower silica content. The crack length anisotropy increased after annealing at 2123K.

단결정 다이아몬드의 연마특성(1)-각 결정면의 연마 이방성- (The lapping characteristics of single crystal diamond(1st report) -lapping anisotropy of the crystal planes-)

  • The lapping characteristics of single crystal diamond are studied by considering the crystallographic anisotropy. It is introduced for lapping method to identify crystallographic orientantion by the X-ray diffraction and to measure lapping force ratio, lapping temperature and lapping wear. Diamound bonded wheels are used for lapping under dry condition. On the lapping {110} and {100} planes, it shows remarkable crystallographic anistropy. The lapping force ratio, temperature and wear become gerater with sliding direction along the <100> than along <110>. The results also show that the wear of diamond is influenced by mechanical work(tangential lapping force * lapping distance) as well by lapping speed.

Die-upset법에 의한 Pr-Fe-B자석의 자기적 성질에 관한 연구 (Studies on Magnetic Properties of Die-upset Pr-Fe-B Magnets )

  • $Pr_{15}Fe_{77}B_{8}$ 조성의 합금을 Ar분위기에서 유도용해로를 이용하여 주조하 였다. 이 합금을 석영관에 넣어 고주파 유도로를 이용하여 용해한 후 0.6 nm의 분출구를 통해 회전하는 Cu wheel위에 분사하여 비본형태로 제조하였다. 이 리본을 열간변형하여 결정방향성을 주었는데 이를 위 해 먼저 $680^{\circ}C$에서 $21.8\;kg/mm^{2}$의 압력으로 hot-press하여 92%의 densification을 갖는 시편을 얻을 수 있었다. 이 시편을 다양한 조건하에서 die-upset을 행하였다. 변형율이 높을 수록 $_{i}H_{c}$는 저하되었으나, $B_{r}$은 현저하게 증가되었으며, XRD 분석 결과(006)면에서의 회절강도가 증가되었다. 따라서 압축방향으로 자화용이축이 형성되었음을 알 수 있었다. Die-upset시의 변형속도가 빠를 수록 $_{i}H_{c}$는 증가되었으나, $B_{r}$은 감소되었다. 가공온도에 따른 $B_{r}$의 변화는 $750^{\circ}C$ 까지 상승한 후 감소되었다. 이 조성의 $4{\pi}M_{s}$는 11.8 kG였고 $750^{\circ}C$에서 0.05 mm/sec의 가공속도로 변형률 0.8로 die-upset한 경우에는 $B_{r}$이 11.0 kG로 우수한 자기이방성을 가지고 있으나, die-upset후에 $_{i}H_{c}$가 낮은 문제점이 있다.
