조성비와 소결온도에 따른 BSCT 세라믹스의 유전특성 (Dielectric properties with variation of a Composition and Sintering temperature of BSCT ceramics)

  • $(Ba_{0.6-x}Sr_{0.4}Ca_x)TiO_3$(x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20) ceramics were fabricated by the mixed-oxide method and their structural and dielectric properties were investigated with variation of composition ratio and sintering temperature. As a result of the differential thermal analysis(DTA), exothermic peak was observed at around $1020^{\circ}C$ due to the formation of the polycrystalline perovskite phase. BSCT(50/40/10) specimen sintered at $1500^{\circ}C$ showed the highest average grain size(18.25$[{\mu}m]$). Curie temperature and dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing amount of Ca. BSCT(50/40/10) specimen sintered at $1450^{\circ}C$ showed a good dielectric constant, K, (=4324) and dielectric loss, $tan{\delta}$, (=0.972%) properties at 1[KHz].

  • (Ba$\sub$0.6-x/Sr$\sub$0.4/Ca$\sub$x/)TiO$_3$(x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20) specimens were fabricated by the solid state reaction method and then the structural and dielectric properties as a function of the composition ratio and sintering temperature were studied. The BSCT(50/40/10) specimen sintered at 1500$^{\circ}C$ showed the highest average grain size(18.25 ${\mu}$m). The Curie temperature and dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing Ca content. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen, sintered at 1450$^{\circ}C$, were about 4324 and 0.972% at 1KHz, respectively. Dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing an applied field, tunability of the BSCT(50/40/10) sintered at 1300$^{\circ}C$ was 18%.

  • (Ba$_{0.6-x}$Sr$_{0.4}$Ca$_{x}$)TiO$_3$ (x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20) ceramics were fabricated by the mixed-oxide method and their dielectric properties were investigated with variation of composition ratio, doped ZrO$_2$ (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 wt%) and sintered at 145$0^{\circ}C$. The dielectric constant and loss of the x=0.10 specimen applied field were 19.86 and 0.302 % at 0 V/cm, and 25.937 and 0.339 % at 300 V/cm, respectively. Dielectric constant were increased with increased applied field and decreased with increased frequency, and dielectric loss were within 0.1% at applied 800 MHz, respectively. all specimens showed fairly good applied field. Although, dielectric constant and loss of all specimen showed to tend of nearly the same. same.

  • (Ba$\sub$0.6-x/Sr$\sub$0.4/Ca$\sub$x/)TiO$_3$(BSCT) (x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20) powder, prepared by the sol-Bel method, were mixed with organic binder and then BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen printing techniques on alumina substrates using the BSCT paste. The structural and the dielectric Properties were investigated for various composition ratio and sintering temperature. The second phase appeared in BSCT(40/40/20) thick film sintered at 1450$^{\circ}C$. BSCT thick film thickness, obtained by four printings, was approximately 110∼120$\mu\textrm{m}$. The Curie temperature and dielectric constant at room temperature were decreased with increasing Ca content. The relative dielectric constant, dielectric loss and tunability of the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen, which was sintered at 1420$^{\circ}C$ and measured at 1MHz, were about 910, 0.46% and 9.28% at 5㎸/cm, respectively.

  • [ $(Ba,Sr,Ca)TiO_3$ ] powders, prepared by the sol-gel method, were mixed with organic vehicle and the BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen printing techniques on alumina substrates. The dielectric properties were investigated for various composition ratio and $Nb_2O_5$ doping contents. All the BSCT thick films, sintered at $1420^{\circ}C$, showed the typical XRD patterns of a perovskite polycrystalline structure. The Curie temperature and the relative dielectric constant decreased with increasing Ca content and $Nb_2O_5$ doping amount. The relative dielectric constant, dielectric loss and tunability of the BSCT(50/40/10) thick films doped with 1.0wt% $Nb_2O_5$ were 1410, 0.65% and 17.29% respectively.

The Curie temperature and relative dielectric constant at room temperature were decreased with increasing an amount of $Al_{2}O_{3}$ doping content. The dielectric loss is minimum for BSCT doped with 1.5wt% $Al_{2}O_{3}$ content. The tunability was decreased with increasing an Ca content and is about 4.2% for BSCT(50/40/10) doped with 2.0wt% $Al_{2}O_{3}$ content.

  • $(Ba_{0.6-x}Sr_{0.4}Ca_x)TiO_3$ + ywt% MgO (x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20, y=0.0~3.0) ceramics were fabricated by the conventional solid-state reaction, and their structural and dielectric properties were investigated with variation of composition ratio and MgO doping content. A second phase, representative of MgO, appears in 3wt% MgO-doped BSCT specimens. Average grain sizes decreased with increasing amounts of MgO, and the BSCT(40/40/20) specimens doped with 3wt% MgO showed a value of $9.3{\mu}m$. The Curie temperature and relative dielectric constant at room temperature were decreased with increasing MgO doping content and Ca composition ratio. The relative dielectric constant was non-linearly decreased as the field strength is increased. The tunability was increased with decreasing a Ca content and the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen doped with 1.0wt% MgO content showed the highest value of 6.4% at 5kV/cm.

The dielectric loss is minimum at BSCT doped with 1.5wt% $Al_2O_3$content. The tunability was decreased with increasing an Ca content and the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen doped with 2.0wt% $Al_2O_3$content showed the maximum value of 4.2%.

  • The barium strontium calcium titanate((Ba,Sr,Ca)$TiO_3$) powders prepared by the sol-gel method and $MnCO_3$ as acceptor were mixed oxide method. The microstructure was investigated with variation of $Pr_{2}O_{3}$ amount. The BSCT powder and $Pr_{2}O_{3}$ were mixed with organic vehicle(Ferro. B75001). BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing method on alumina substrates. The bottom electrode was Pt and upper electrode was Ag, respectively. All BSCT thick films were sintered at $1420^{\circ}C$, for 2h. The result of the differential thermal analysis(DTA), exothermic peak at around $654^{\circ}C$ due to the formation of the polycrystalline perovskite phase. In the X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns, all BSCT thick films showed the typical perovskite polycrystalline structure and no pyrochlore phase was dbserved. The microstructure investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM). Pore and grain size of BSCT thick films were decreased with increasing amount of $Pr_{2}O_{3}$ dopant. And the average grain size and thickness of BSCT thick films doped with 0.1 mol% $Pr_{2}O_{3}$ was $3.09{\mu}m$, $60{\mu}m$, respectively. The relative dielectric constant decreased and dielectric loss decreased with increasing amount of $Pr_{2}O_{3}$ dopant, the values of the BSCT thick films no doped with $Pr_{2}O_{3}$ were 7443 and 4 % at 1 kHz, respectively.
