  • CNN's technologies that represent emotional detection include primitive CNN algorithms, deployment normalization, and drop-off. We present the methods and data of the three experiments in this paper. The training database and the test database are set up differently. The first experiment is to extract emotions using Batch Normalization, which complemented the shortcomings of distribution. The second experiment is to extract emotions using Dropout, which is used for rapid computation. The third experiment uses CNN using convolution and maxpooling. All three results show a low detection rate, To supplement these problems, We will develop a deep learning algorithm using feature extraction method specialized in image processing field.

  • Acarbose, a pseudo-oligosaccharide, is widely used clinically in therapies for non-insulin-dependent diabetes. In the present study, S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) was added to selected media in order to investigate its effect on acarbose fermentation by Actinoplanes utahensis ZJB-08196. Acarbose titer was seen to increase markedly when concentrations of SAM were added over a period of time. The effects of glucose and maltose on the production of acarbose were investigated in both batch and fed-batch fermentation. Optimal acarbose production was observed at relatively low glucose levels and high maltose levels. Based on these results, a further fed-batch experiment was designed so as to enhance the production of acarbose. Fed-batch fermentation was carried out at an initial glucose level of 10 g/l and an initial maltose level of 60 g/l. Then, 12 h post inoculation, 100 ${\mu}mol/l$ SAM was added. In addition, 8 g/l of glucose was added every 24 h, and 20 g/l of maltose was added at 96 h. By way of this novel feeding strategy, the maximum titer of acarbose achieved was 6,113 mg/l at 192 h. To our knowledge, the production level of acarbose achieved in this study is the highest ever reported.

  • In the general process of design for aerobic digestion, the design for field plant of which inflow pattern is continuous inflow is performed using the results from lab scale batch reactor. However, the recent researchers reported that the general designs were performed as over-estimated, Therefore, in this study, laboratory batch experiments were carried out at $20^{\circ}C$ and pH 7.5 on the aerobic digestion of waste activated sludge at different solid levels. This treatise could consider the negligence about effective digestion periods the usage of VSS as solid concentration, and the effect of initial solid concentration of solid degration rate coefficient($k_d$) as reasons of the overestimated design, and showed the scheme of how to design for aerobic digestion from batch experiment.

  • Batch reactors were employed to investigate the kinetics of cellulose hydrolysis under extremely low acid (ELA) and high temperature condition. The sawdust was pretreated by Auto-hydrolysis prior to the batch reaction. The maximum yield of glucose obtained from the batch reactor experiment was about 70% for the pretreated sawdust, this occurred at 210 and 22$0^{\circ}C$. The maximum glucose yield from the untreated sawdust was much lower at these temperatures, about 55%. The maximum yields of glucose from the lignocellulosics were obtained between 15th and 20th minutes after which gradual decrease was observed.

  • Previous study (J. of Chem. Technol. Biotechnol. 2004, 79, 79-84) showed that bacterial cellulose (BC) produced by a bacterial strain JH232 has potential as a source for environmentally friendly ion exchange membranes. In this study, strain JH232 was investigated for phylogenetic classified and characterized for BC production. Comparative analysis of 16S rRNA gene revealed that the strain belongs to the genus Gluconacetobacter. Maximum production of BC was observed when JH232 was cultured in CSL medium (pH 5.5) at $30^{\circ}C$ as determined by flask experiment. When batch and fed-batch cultures of JH232 were performed in the fermenter experiment to compare BC productivity of the strain, BC productivity of fed-batch culture was 1.56 times higher than that of batch culture.

  • In this paper, a fed-batch cultivation process in recombinant Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) bacteria, for the production of human soluble catechol-O-methyltransferase (hSCOMT), is presented. For the first time, a straightforward model is applied in a recombinant hSCOMT expression system and distinguishes an initial cell growth phase from a protein production phase upon induction. Specifically, the kinetic model predicts biomass, substrate, and product concentrations in the culture over time and was identified from a series of fed-batch experiments designed by testing several feed profiles. The main advantage of this model is that its parameters can be identified more reliably from distinct fed-batch strategies, such as glycerol pulses and exponential followed by constant substrate additions. Interestingly, with the limited amount of data available, the proposed model accomplishes satisfactorily the experimental results obtained for the three state variables, and no exhaustive process knowledge is required. The comparison of the measurement data obtained in a validation experiment with the model predictions showed the great extrapolation capability of the model presented, which could provide new complementary information for the COMT production system.

  • Korea shows the soil pH is 5.8 ~ 6.2 by many factors including the geological structure and climate condition. There is known as the cause for soil acidification by weathering of the mineral, excessive use of the chemical fertilizer, and extensively diffused acid rain. The purpose of research is environmentally-friendly material neutralization technology development utilizing the waste resources against by acid soil. The experiment analyze the physico-chemical property of the acid soil and waste resource materials (waste lime, oyster shell, bottom ash). The Batch-Test was performed under 3 stage. As a result, the acid soil showed up acid soil about 3.19. And waste lime, oyster, bottom ash showed the alkalinity with 9.62, 10.08, 9.17. In case of 1 batch-test experimental result, waste lime and oyster shell, the alkalinity was shown over 7.5 and the good efficiency was showed, on the other hands, the bottom ash showed the pH 4 the neutralization efficiency which is low. waste resource materials to be applied to 2 steps was chosen as the waste lime except the bottom ash and oyster. In 2 step batch-test experiment, it was exposed to be the most appropriate in case of doing the combination ratio of the waste lime and oyster shell with 9 : 1. It was exposed to be efficient most in the effeciency and aspect of economical efficiency combination ratio of the soil and materials was 9.6 : 0.6 with 3 step batch-test experimental result.

  • The microorganism decomposition experiment of sewage in the underground sewer has the limit of experiment condition and time. The way to reproduce the microorganism decomposition in the underground sewer was studied using batch reactor setting up the DO as a limiting condition. The DO concentration in the sewer is controlled by reaeration. It is possible to obtain correlation between flow condition and reaeration coefficient through the reproduction of reaeration phenomenon by controlling the flow condition in the sewer using this phenomenon. And it is possible to set the flow condition and agitation intensity (velocity gradient) that has the same reaeration coefficient using the correlation between the reaeration coefficient with the flow condition and reaeration coefficient with the agitation intensity. The circumstances in the sewer system was reproduced using batch reactor setting up the DO as a limiting condition from these results.

  • In this paper, we develop an automated software for in-plane structural analysis of composite laminated structures. The developed software supports various failure criteria and reports the analysis results considering user's convenience. It also provides batch job analysis function based on parallel processing technique. To verify the performance of the software, we compared margin of safety(MS) calculated in the software to those obtained from in-house method and the specimen experiment. As a result of comparisons, there was an error of less than 0.01 in the in-house method and it is within about ${\pm}10%$ with the specimen experiment. In addition, we confirmed the improvement of execution speed of batch job analysis based on parallel processing technique.

  • The adsorption of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions to activated carbon fiber (ACF) was investigated using both batch and flow-through column experiments. The batch experiments (adsorbent dose, 10 g/L; initial Cr(VI) concentration, 5-500 mg/L) showed that the maximum adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) to ACF was determined to 20.54 mg/g. The adsorption of Cr(VI) to ACF was sensitive to solution pH, decreasing from 9.09 to 0.66 mg/g with increasing pH from 2.6 to 9.9; the adsorption capacity was the highest at the highly acidic solution pHs. Kinetic model analysis showed that the Elovich model was the most suitable for describing the kinetic data among three (pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, and Elovich) models. From the nonlinear regression analysis, the Elovich model parameter values were determined to be ${\alpha}$ = 162.65 mg/g/h and ${\beta}$ = 2.10 g/mg. Equilibrium isotherm model analysis demonstrated that among three (Langmuir, Freundlich, Redlich-Peterson) models, both Freundlich and Redlich-Peterson models were suitable for describing the equilibrium data. In the model analysis, the Redlich-Peterson model fit was superimposed on the Freundlich fit. The Freundlich model parameter values were determined to be $K_F$ = 0.52 L/g and 1/n = 0.56. The flow-through column experiments showed that the adsorption capacities of ACF in the given experimental conditions (column length, 10 cm; inner diameter, 1.5 cm; flow rate, 0.5 and 1.0 mL/min; influent Cr(VI) concentration, 10 mg/L) were in the range of 2.35-4.20 mg/g. This study demonstrated that activated carbon fiber was effective for the removal of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions.
