This study tries to provide concept on establishment of CM license basis, CM selection procedure and CM contract documents through a comparative study of CM services in several CM contract documents in the America. This results of study are summarized as follows; Establishment of basis on the work scopes and legal license of CM company. Establishment of CM selection and contract procedure. Preparation of CM contract documents. Preparation of CM manual.

Construction work has character which claim or dispute is frequently raised. This means that each construction project has it's own contract documents due to the difference of environment and time. Therefore to overcome the associated risks, domestic contract rules and acts should be reformed. Several well-recognized contract documents developed by FIDIC, AlA, CMAA and general conditions of the contract is investigated and analyzed. Based on the research outcomes the direction of reformation is suggested.

최근 우리나라의 건설산업은 Project의 규모가 대형화됨에 따라 기계화 시공 신공법 도입등 공정작업이 다양해지고 새로운 방법들이 많이 시도되고 있으며 건설산업도 기획, 설계, 발주, 시공, 유지관리라는 연속적 단계를 통하여 각 단계가 상호 유기적 연관성을 가지므로 건설현장의 근원적 안전성 확보를 위해서 건설 시설물의 Life cycle 전 단계를 걸쳐 안전관리 개념과 기법이 도입되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CM에 의한 단계로 안전성 확보에 주력하고 미국 CMAA의 단계별 기능별(phase, 6Function) 업무내용에서와 같이 Safety Management를 한다. 또한 CM제도 정착에 따른 초기단계를 규정하는 안전관리 법령 재정을 하여 단계적으로 자율적 안전 관리를 유도하여 재해예방을 하도록 해야한다.

The Korean Construction Industry significantly contributed to the Korean economic development not only by preparing the domestic infrastructure but also by successfully conducting various international projects. However, major incidents such as the collapse of Sung-Su Bridge and Sam-Pung Department Store along with stagnation of Korean Economy have raised questions about underlying systematic problems of the Korean Construction Industry. As a solution to resurrect the Korean Construction Industry, the Construction Management (CM) system introduced in late 1990's and increasingly utilized as an innovative delivery system. Despite of the fast growth of CM, the performance of CM has not been up to the hype and low CM fee has been identified as one of the main reasons of unsatisfactory CM performance. Therefore, this research attempted to propose ways of improving 'CM Fee Guidelines' published by Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation by conducting a benchmarking study on Global Standards of estimating CM Fee. International organizations benchmarked in this research include CMAA, ASCE, DOL, DOE, etc. Various investigation and analysis revealed that Korean 'CM Fee Guidelines' need to significantly modified comparing to Global Standards. This research also tried to prepare recommendations to improve the CM deliver system focusing on the 'Method of CM Fee Estimation' and Selection of a CM firm as an owner's agent.

The government, in order to settle and activate the use of Construction Management (CM) method, clarified the legal Issues pertaining to infrastructure development and is taking an active role to promote CM through government sponsored pilot projects. However, when a CM method is applied to a turn-key protect, many applicational difficulites are expected. With design and construction are performed under the simple responsibility in a turn-key method, roles of CM's is overlapped. Also, the characteristics of turn-key method are not reflected to the present $\lceil$CM Work Guideline$\rfloor$. Over the years, various problems have been identified from turn-key projects. Korea's $\lceil$CM Work Guideline$\rfloor$ is more inclusive compared to the CM services of CMAA and overlooks the importance of CM's roles in pre-design phase. In this study, CM's roles of pre-construction phase (pre-bidding, bidding, detail design, contracting) in construction turn-key projects were identified and complementary policy for institution was suggested. We further look into dividing the roles of the CM at turn-key project Into professional role and emotional role. Also, we speculate problems of the existing experience in turn-key projects and suggest a rough methodology on how these concepts can be adjusted for improve the turn-key method.

The construction management(CM) which is introduced on middle 1990 activates a building industry the condition of the essential indispensability for is becoming, is not officially recognized with national qualification to be, that as pending issue it is most urgent, the specialty manpower positivity which is judged as the nostril poop]e for qualification of the civil CM educational institutions has the certification which is a each educational program and a separate way and it is the actual condition which is become accomplished. The problem when as international certification the CMAA which is only it secures a reliability certification which is a CCM and SAVE seeing in the certified which is a CVS, compares in the foreign nation and the CM certification is excessive, it does not secure a reliability and an efficient characteristic to give a confusion to the capital increase lattices which in a condition are, it is mass produced it is a point. It saw from, it observes the capital increase reserve problem point which is a domestic CM and the certification integration which is a report and system anger it leads and with national certified qualification it develops to present the improvement program for, it does to sleep.

As Korea has been industrialized high recently, the constructional plant part which is the major driving force to Korean economic growth is being developed. In spite of the great importance, there are many ill-prepared parts in EPC project management procedure, and working in practice of EPC project management procedure manual is not systematic. That is why the governmental progressive policy on the relevant technology and the establishment of EPC project management procedure are needed. This study was aimed to derive reform measures by analyzing problems of EPC project management procedure manuals which are in use at 13 large-sized construction companies currently. The reform measures which are based on the theory of PMI(Project Management Institute)'s PMBOK(Porjcet Management Body Of Knowledge) are about deriving administration factors to control the project, and EPC project administration factors are derived from the definition of CMAA(Construction Mangement Association of America). The reformed electronic EPC project management procedure manual system is set up by standardizing derived administration factors.

The Korean government makes an effort to raise the competitive power of nation through CM activation in the construction industry. Since the first CM service was applied to the atomic power plant project in 1986, the number of CM contracts are continuously being increased and will be up to 20% by 2002 in public sector. However, the public projects had been executed without any procedure manual or standard guideline of CM services. Meanwhile the Ministry of Construction and Transportation issued $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$, but the guide shows an indefinite description in the responsibility, authority and scope of activity for the project participants. Therefore, it is required the procedures be improved and scope of activities be established for the project participants. This study was generated from the comparative analysis of $\ulcorner$Standard CM Services and Practice$\lrcorner$ Published by CMAA and domestic $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$ and the case of Incheon International Airport construction. The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental data for an improvement in the procedures of project execution and the construction manager's activities/rolls shown on $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$

Objectives This review was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and clinical significance of Chuna manual therapy (CMT) in the treatment of pediatric cough. Methods Ten electronic databases (PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane, CNKI [CAJ], KMBASE, KISS, KISTI, NDSL, RISS, and Oasis) were searched. Only randomized controlled trials (RCTs) using CMT for pediatric cough treatment were included. The methodological quality of each RCT was evaluated using the Cochrane risk-of-bias tool (v1.0). Results Nine RCTs met the inclusion criteria. The meta-analysis revealed positive effects of CMT in the treatment of pediatric cough. Both CMT alone and CMT combined with Chinese medication or Chinese medicine acupoint application (CMAA) were effective in treating pediatric cough. Conclusions This systematic review shows the reliability, effectiveness, and clinical significance of CMT in the treatment of pediatric cough. However, the evidence is limited due to the defective design of the included RCTs. More well-designed RCTs are required to provide clearer evidence for this claim.

Plant construction is being a motive power of national economic growth, because it is a higher value-added business which has enormous influence through other industry. But, plant projects management of the domestic company was poor. So, the development of EPC Business Process Management method has been encouraged. Therefore, this paper performed several researches for setting up the EPC Business Process Management Model for improving plant project management. And the details are as follows. First of all, this study collected the work procedure manuals of 12 large-sized international construction companies. Secondly, from the analyzing gathered EPC work procedure manuals, issues of work procedure manuals were analyzed and improvement plans were drawn out. Basis on this, This study presents a method to improve project management for EPC plant project. 'The Work Procedure Matrix for EPC Management' and 'Key Unit Works for EPC Management' were drawn out by using overseas construction management theories and international regulations. In addition, 'The EPC Business Process Management Models' reformed to the Business process method, that is the set of specifications, documents and procedures used to manage the EPC plant project. And it describes how the EPC work procedure manuals will be used. Finally, this study suggests the model of EPC Business Process Management System. The framework of Plant project management can be clarified by using 'The Work Procedure Matrix'. And 'Key Unit Works' are used to organize the work procedure needed to improve plant projects management. The results of this study will help to improve in project management efficiency for plant construction.
