CNC 선반가공 및 자동 측정시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Machining and Measuring System for CNC Lathe)

  • The purpose of this study is the development of CAM system which can machine and measure any shape by CNC lathe. The overall goal of the CAM system is to achieve the CNC lathe machining, from roughing through to final measuring, The hardware of the system comprises PC, CNC lathe and measuring tools. There are three steps in the CNC lathe machining and measuring, (1) geometric modeling by the shape patterns, (2) NC commands generation by the tool path compensated for tool nose radius, (3) machining and workpiece measuring on the lathe. It is developed a software package, with which we can conduct a micro CAM system in the PC without economical burden.

  • The pupose of this study is the development of CAM system which can cut any shape by CNC lathe.. The overall goal of the CAM system is to achieve the CNC lathe machining, form roughing through to final measuring. The hardware of the system comprises PC and CNC lathe.   • Control system for cutting piston used in vehicle that is one of the 3D shape cutting using CNC lathe is presented. In order to cut the hybrid piston shape using CNC lathe, defined piston shape and change into machine code. The control software was developed for the high speed piston shape cutting. In this paper, the performance of this software was evaluated practically. As a result, the evaluated cutting precision was quantitatively compared with theoretical precision. Also the productivity and the quality by using CNC lathe with control software were evaluated those by using profiling.

공업고등학교 공작기계 과목의 CNC 선반 실습 표준 수행 평가 기준 개발 (The Development of Instrument for Standard Performance Assessment for the Practice CNC Lathe of Work Machine Subject in Technical High School)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공업고등학교 공작기계 과목의 CNC 선반 실습 표준 수행 평가를 위한 기준을 개발하는 데 있다. 이 연구에서는 CNC 선반 실습을 실시하고 있는 경기도내 13개 공업고등학교(공립 11개교와 사립 2개교)의 CNC 선반 수행 평가 기준을 수집, 분석하여 CNC 선반 실습 표준 수행 평가 기준을 개발 하였다. 경기도내 13개 공업고등학교에서 조사하여 작성한 CNC 선반 실습 표준 수행 평가 기준을 CNC 선반 실습 현장 교사 26명(각 학교별 2명씩)에게 타당성을 검증 받았다. 그 검증값은 평균 3.77 ~ 4.77로 타당도가 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서 개발한 평가 도구의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공업고등학교 학생들의 CNC 선반 실습에 대한 기능적인 영역뿐만 아니라 인지적 영역, 정의적 영역까지를 평가할 수 있도록 평가 기준을 개발하였다. 둘째, CNC 선반 실습 교과에 대한 평가 영역을 전 실습 과정에 대하여 세분화 하였으며, 교사와 학생이 함께 평가할 수 있는 객관적 평가 방법을 택하였다. 셋째, 개발된 CNC 선반 실습 표준 수행 평가 기준은 일선 현장에서 지도하고 있는 교사들로부터 타당성을 검증 받았기 때문에 타당도와 신뢰도가 높다고 할 수 있다.

고속 CNC선반용 공랭식 오일 냉각기 개발 (Development of a Oil-Cooler for High-Speed CNC Lathe)

  • Recently, CNC lathe is in need of higher speed for precision works. So more intensive and compact heat exchanger is necessary to cool down the heat in short time from drills and works during high speed working. In this study, to increase heat transfer coefficient per unit volume, inner groove tube is designed and compact oil cooler, 57% volume of conventional type, is manufactured. The heat transfer performance is experimented and is compared with the performance of conventional type.

CNC 선반에서 볼 나사 열변형에 따른 위치결정 정도 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Accuracy of Positioning Induced Thermal Deformation of the Ball Screw in CNC Lathe)

  • Thermal expansion of the ball screw can directly affect the accuracy of positioning along the travel axis in the semi-closed loop type CNC Lathe. In this paper, use of MACRO variables can make the thermal displacement of the ball screw estimated. Also, the estimated displacements of the ball screw are controlled by calculating the interval of pitch error rate in the Numerical Control(NC). Under the constant operating conditions, the thermal expansion of the ball screw was measured to confirm the effectiveness of the compensation method in the CNC Lathe. By using this method the results show that the thermal displacement of the ball screw could be reduced to 20% compared with ordinary method.

  • The purpose of this study is the development of a lathe which can cut any pistons of oval shape with high speed, accuracy and precision by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) method. Y axis which is the position determinating mechanism with high speed response was added to the CNC lathe and the ovality and profile was cut under the control of C-Y-Z axes at same time. In the case of ovality of .phi. 0.2mm, the productivity can be improved up to 2500rpm(Y axis:83Hz) by high speed cutting than modeling method. Since a personal computer is used, it is easy to change the shape of pistion and can be applied promptly to many types of piston shppe by only changing data files.

  • Thermal expansion of ball screw in the semi-closed loop type CNC LATHE introduces positioning errors directly along the travelling the axis. In this paper the thermal displacements of the ball screw were estimated by using macro variable. The estimated displacements of the ball screw were given to the ball screw of the CNC LATHE under the constant driving conditions were measured to examine the effectiveness of the compensation method. The results showed that thermal displacements of the ball screw could be maintained less then 6 .mu.m positioning accaracy while using this compensation.

  • The purpose of this study is the development of a lathe which can cut any pistons of oval shape with high speed, accuracy and precision by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) method. Yaxis which is the mechanism of position determination with high speed response has been added to the CNC lathe and ovality and profile has been cut under the synchronous control of C-Y-Z axes. In the case of ovality of ø 0.5mm. the productivity can be improved up to 1500rpm by high speed cutting than modeling method.
