문화유산(文化遺産) 보존(保存)의 개념(槪念)과 보존(保存) 이론(理論) (Concept and Theoretical Issues of Conservation of Cultural Heritage)

  • 우리나라에서 근대적인 개념의 문화유산 보존이 등장한 것을 일제 강점기(1910-945)이다. 당시 일본에 의해 도입된 문화 유산 보존의 근대적인 개념은 해방 후 손상된 문화 유산의 보수와 수리 등 실질적인 보존 처리에 치중하여 왔기 때문에 우리 실정에 알맞은 문화유산의 보존 개념과 이론이 정립되지 못한 것이 현실이다. 본고에서는 유럽, 일본, 중국 그리고 우리나라에서 사용하는 'conservation'에 관한 다양한 의미에 대해 알아보고, 더 나아가 근대적인 문화유산 보존의 개념을 명확하게 하기위해 각 국 간에 'conservation'이란 용어의 유사성과 차이점을 알아보고 현대 보존이론의 발달 과정과 그 내용에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 이러한 논의를 통해 우리나라 보존 원칙 및 윤리규범이 한층 더 발전할 것이며, 우리나라의 문화유산의 보존의 방향 또한 확고해질 것이다.

중학교 학생들의 보상문제해결 과정에 대한 분석 (A Study on the Problem-solving Process in Compensation Performance of Middle School Students)

  • 이 연구에서는 중학교 학생들의 보상논리 문제해결 과정을 알아보았다. 이 연구를 위해 서울 소재 남녀공학 중학교 3개반 5개조 21명을 대상으로 하였으며, 보상논리를 주제로 한 활동의 수업내용을 참여 관찰하였고, 그 내용을 녹음하여 조사${\cdot}$분석하였다. 학생들의 보상논리 형성과정을 분석한 결과 학생들은 개인마다 각기 다른 유형의 형성과정을 나타내었다. 수학적 연산력이 뛰어나난 학생들은 비례식에 의해 보상논리를 설명하고 반비례관계와 보상논리는 같은 개념이라고 생각하는 경향이 강했고, 보존논리가 잘 발달되지 않는 학생들은 보상논리 형성과정에서 평형을 유지하려는 힘은 보존된다는 생각과 두 변인의 관계를 연관지어 생각하지 못하였다. 보상논리 형성에 성공한 학생들은 다른 학생들에 비해서 보존개념 형성정도가 높았다.

연령과 과제상황에 따른 물의 증발현상에 대한 아동의 액체보존개념 (Liquid Conservation Concept In The Water Evaporation Phenomenon According To The Age and Task-Situations)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate children's liquid conservation concept according to their ages and task-situations in the water evaporation phenomenon. Thirty from each 4-, 6- and 8-year-old age groups (total of 90 subjects) were selected for this study. The subjects were recruited from two day-care centers, a kindergarten, and an elementary school, in Seoul. Statistical methods used for data analysis were frequencies, percentiles, means, standard deviations and repeated measures ANOVA. As a result, there was a significant difference in children's liquid conservation concept in the evaporation of water according to their ages and task-situations. 8-year-old children showed levels of cognition than 4- and 6-year-olds. Children showed higher levels of cognition in the task of drying than in the task of water level changes.

우리나라 농촌아동(農村兒童)의 발달단계별(發達段階別) 보존(保存)개념 (Conservation Concept Among Rural Children in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out conservation concept acquisition in children of pre-operational and concrete periods. The data in this study were obtained through experimental methods with 62 children(28 males and 34 females) of 3-11 ages in Korean rural areas. The Piagetian instruments devised by Gelman were used for the study ; length, liquid, quantity, mass, and volume conservation tasks. Percentile and $x^2$-test were applied for the statistical analysis of data: and the results of the experiment are as follows: 1) Most children aged 3-9 years did not appear to understand that the length of sticks stayed the same regardless of position. 2) In liquid quantity conservation, children centered their attentions on one aspect ; juice level or number of container. Their conservation concept was developed correlating with ages. 3) In the experiment of mass conservation by using play dough, only 7.1% of children of pre-operational period and 47.1% of concrete period affirmed that the amounts of play dough were same after changed shape. 4) In volume task, 29.4% children aged 7 to 11 years admitted to conservation. 5) It is found that girls acquired length conservation earlier than boys, while there was no significant difference between boys and girls in other conservation tasks.

석조문화재 보존과학의 세계적 연구동향과 우리의 과제 (State of the Arts of the Conservation Science of Stone Monuments and Our Tasks)

  • World state of the arts of the conservation of stone monuments is reviewed and the modern conservation program based on conservation science is proposed for the scientific conservation of stone monuments in Korea. The conservation program suggests that the site environment diagnosis, decay diagnosis, petrophysical property analysis, and conservation experiment should always be carefully studied before conservation treatment. It is an up-to-date widely accepted concept in the world of stone conservation science. Our urgent national tasks that should be accomplished for the scientific conservation of stone monuments in Korea are proposed in the following: 1) The stone monument conservation projects should be planned in accordance with 'Conservation Concept of Stone Cultural Properties' and executed in accordance with the proposed 'Conservation Program for Stone Cultural Property' based on conservation science. 2) It is proposed that 'National Institute of Conservation Science for Cultural Properties' be established for systematic conservation research on the tangible cultural properties. 3) The conservation projects of stone monuments should be executed under the control of stone conservation specialist for their quality control. 4) Special national budget should be prepared for quick development of researches on conservation science in Korea.

물의 비등현상에 대한 4, 6, 8세 아동의 액체보존개념 (Liquid Conservation Concept in the Water Boiling Phenomenon among 4-, 6-, 8- Year Olds)

아동의 지능, 보존개념의 발달과 영어학습과의 관계분석 (Children's Intelligence, Concept of Conservation, and the Relations With Learning English)

  • This study investigated the relations of children's age, intelligence, and the concept of conservation to their learning of English. Ten 4-year-old children from 1 child-care center and 13 7-year-old children from 1 elementary school were tested after completion of 8 sessions of experimental English classes. Children's intelligence was measured by K-WPPSI for 4-year olds and K-WISC for 7-year-olds. Children were tested for number and liquid conservations. A Korean teacher with 11 years of experience of teaching children at American elementary schools taught the 2 groups with the same subjects and methods. Data were analysed by independent samples t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Pearson's r. The results showed that children's age and the concept of conservation were related to English learning. No statistically significant relationship with IQ was found.

한국 전통마을의 보전 개념과 방법론 연구 - 한국.중국 전통마을의 사례연구를 바탕으로 - (The Concept and the Method of Conservation for the Traditional Korean Settlements - Based on the Case Study in Korea and China -)

  • The objective of this study is to establish the method of conservation for traditional Korean settlements, based on the field surveys on the representative traditional settlements in Korea and China. The method is approached from grasping the conservation mechanism in which non-physical aspects deeply influence physical ones. The study has analyzed the characteristics and problems in the current methods of conservation for the traditional settlements, through comparing conservation practices at the World Heritage-class settlements such as Yangdong, Hahoi, and Oeam villages in Korea and Xidi-cun, Hong-cun, and Dangjia-cun in China. As a consequence of the study, the conservation method for the traditional Korean settlements is established as follows; Firstly, the conservation targets are classified into 4 types in terms of the relations of elements; individual, correspondent, sequential, and network elements. Secondly, the conservation strategies include the structuralizations of targets, by means of sequencing and networking. Thirdly, the conservation programs are made in consideration of the sustenance, transformation, replacement, and extinction of traditional use patterns.

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigated the effects of music lesson and musical and rhythmic activities on young Children's musical abilities and musical conservation concepts. Two kinds of tests aiming to measure musical abilities and musical conservation concept were administered to 117 children aged 5- to 7-year-old. The amount of music lesson at home was investigated. and musical and rhythmic activities at two preschools were observed and them evaluated in terms of their quality . The major findings were as follows ; 1)The individual music lessons at home played a significant role in developing young children's musical abilities and musical conservation concepts. 2) Young children's musical abilities and musical conservation concepts were significantly affected by the quality of musical and rhythmic activities. Especially, the quality of musical and rhythmic activities had significant effects on listening, rhythmic activities, and musical creativity among musical abilities. As to musical conservation concepts. only tempo conservation concept was affected by the quality of musical and rhythmic activities. The balanced activities in the five domains of music education were discussed. some suggestions of improving the quality of music education were provided.
