In this paper, we discuss convergence theorem for contraction C-regularized semigroups. We establish the convergence of the sequence of generators of contraction regularized semigroups in some sense implies the convergence of the sequence of the corresponding contraction regularized semigroups. Under the assumption that R(C) is dense, we show the convergence of generators is implied by the convergence of C-resolvents of generators.

The purpose of this study is to develop an educational program to enhance convergence competence of undergraduate engineering students and analyze its educational effects. Prior to the development of the convergence education program for engineering students, 13 experts in engineering education field surveyed the needs of the convergence education program and 829 students from four engineering colleges in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong area and Honam area were assessed for the level of convergence competency. The educational program was developed based on the needs analysis and the program consisted of four major themes: convergence lecture, convergence competence, convergence practice, and convergence vision. The validity of the program was confirmed through the two expert validation tests. A total of 40 students participated in the selection of 10 students from each of the four universities. As a result of pre-post comparison of students' convergence competencies, the average of all competencies increased, and it was found that there were statistically significant differences in convergence mindset, differentiation mind, commitment, communication, and social value competence. Implications for the improvement of education programs and convergence education were suggested.

The purpose of this study is to understand the ideas of characteristic of convergence design related to slow fashion design. Convergence design in digital stage can be defined as a social phenomenon which different function of product move toward one direction for greater efficiency. Slow fashion is based on the Slow Movement. (This is a movement with similar principles to the Slow Food Movement, as it promotes an alternative mass production, such as fast fashion.) The aims of this research are to study slow fashion that has appeared in the fashion industry through various approaches for convergence designs, and to find the possibility of use for slow fashion. The research method consisted of carrying out case studies and analyzing literatures and proceeding cases. The characteristics of convergence designs are classified into technical convergence, emotion-oriented convergence and complex convergence. Technical convergence has an effect on slow fashion as a multi-functional design. Second, emotion-oriented convergence affects social-cultural design. Slow fashion related to a complex convergence design reveals emotion-oriented deign. Slow fashion is related to convergence design is to expect contribute to provide a good source for the future fashion industry and fashion market.

This study investigates the effects of convergence firefighter helmet attributes on consumer attitude toward the product and willingness-to-pay. The results of empirical analysis are as follows. First, consumer attitude toward the convergence product is more favorable when conciseness, economical efficiency, and the utility value of the convergence product's attributes are high, while consumer attitude toward the convergence product is less favorable when the perceived risk of the convergence product's attributes is high. Second, consumer willingness-to-pay for the convergence product is higher when conciseness, economical efficiency, and the utility value of the convergence product's attributes are high, while consumer willingness-to-pay for the convergence product is lower when the perceived risk of the convergence product's attributes is high. Based on our results, the implications are discussed for the further development of convergence products.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the current status and limitations of convergence education in universities and to explore new possibilities of engineering convergence education by analyzing characteristics and cases of self - design semesters as convergence education. As a result of this study, it was found that the education for fostering convergence ability is insufficient for the viewpoint of education. The types of convergence education could be classified into three categories. However, the concept and paradigm of convergence education has not been established precisely because it is made in a 'top-down' manner by the government. In addition, there was a limit of the lack of a foundation to operate the convergence education. However, A university's self-design semester, it shows the possibility of cultivating the overall convergence ability by giving autonomy and subjectivity to learners and through the acquisition of contextual knowledge and the ability of collaboration.

Local convergence results for three Newton-like methods in Banach space are provided. A comparison is given between the three convergence radii. Then we show that using the largest convergence radius we can pick an initial guess from with we start the corresponding iteration. It turns out that after a finite number of steps we can always use the iterate found as the starting guess for a faster method, since this iterate will be inside the convergence domain of the new method.

In this paper, the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for a class of random variables satisfying the Rosenthal type inequality are investigated. The sufficient and necessary conditions for the complete convergence and complete moment convergence are provided. As applications, the Baum-Katz type result and the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type strong law of large numbers for a class of random variables satisfying the Rosenthal type inequality are established. The results obtained in the paper extend the corresponding ones for some dependent random variables.

Convergence services are very important to mobile operators in next generation mobile networks. However, mobile operators cannot deal with all convergence services because there are numerous convergence services. Thus, they should select and develop main technologies to provide convergence services which are areas to grow our business. In this paper, we introduce basic technologies to provide convergence services and then present some evaluation models to select an important area and technology.

In this paper, we firstly presented the definitions of arithmetic ${\mathcal{I}}$-statistically convergence, ${\mathcal{I}}$-lacunary arithmetic statistically convergence, strongly ${\mathcal{I}}$-lacunary arithmetic convergence, ${\mathcal{I}}$-Cesàro arithmetic summable and strongly ${\mathcal{I}}$-Cesàro arithmetic summable using weighted density via Orlicz function ${\tilde{\phi}}$. Then, we proved some theorems associated with these concepts, and we examined the relationship between them. Finally, we establish some sequential properties of ${\mathcal{I}}$-lacunary arithmetic statistical continuity.

The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of convergence which is one of the trendy issues as a new digital paradigm of Integrative thinking in 21st century, to analyze the plastic feature and internal meaning of convergence expressed in fashion design, and to grasp the cultural symbolism through this aesthetic analysis. Because there have been considerable discussions on convergence, centering on industrial product area associated with media, I will proceed my study on the basis of them. For this, the documentary study and practical case study have been executed. This study will be helpful to find a direction of future fashion design trend. Convergence in digital stage can be defined as a phenomenon which different functions of product move towards one direction for greater efficiency, and not only as a technical integration between functions of product, but also an extension of area. Convergence can be classified by their use as (1) convergence for convenient daily life (2) convergence with intelligent scientific technology (3) convergence for entertainment on the basis of sensual experience. The plasticity of convergence designs feature as a open dynamic structure which potentiate transformation and their internal meaning can be inquired such qualities as integrative multiplicity, efficiency, mobility, intelligence. Specially convergence fashion design has protection qualify resulting from wearability on body. Ultimately convergence fashion design as a future digital paradigm can be thought as both eco-friendly design and human-centered design from positive technology-based viewpoint, because it is easy to transform according to our environment, convenient to reserve, and efficient to enhance spatial usibility.
