국내 대기업의 핵심가치 교육 사례연구 (A Case Study on Core Value Education in Large Corporations in Korea)

  • 최근 핵심가치 교육은 성과 향상 및 지속가능한 경영을 이루기 위한 주요 방법의 하나로 각 기업으로부터 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내 대기업 그룹사의 핵심가치 교육에 대한 사례연구를 통해 각 대기업의 핵심가치 교육 수준을 체계적으로 비교 분석하고, 핵심가치 교육에 대한 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 핵심가치 교육을 실시하고 있는 대기업 그룹사 다섯 곳을 선정하여 핵심가치 교육을 담당하고 있는 현직 HRD 담당자 및 각 사의 핵심가치 교육에 참여한 경험이 있는 전 현직 사원을 대상으로 면담 을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 모든 기업이 핵심가치를 성과 향상의 핵심 요소로 보고 체계적인 교육을 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있었지만 구체적인 실천전략, 운영방식, 인사 제도와의 연계방안 등에서는 각 사별로 차이가 있었다. 이에 따라 핵심가치 실천의 수준도 다섯 개 그룹 공히 핵심가치를 이해하고 공감하는 수준에는 해당되었으나, 핵심가치를 실제 업무에서 실천하는 수준은 일부를 제외하고는 미약한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 기업에서 핵심가치를 효과적으로 내재화하고 실천에 옮길 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 핵심가치와 업무 사이의 정렬을 통한 실천 유도, 업무 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 핵심가치 교육 실시, 평가 보완 및 관련 제도와의 연계 확대 등이 필요하다.

과학중점고등학교 학생들의 직업가치관 유형 탐색 및 종단변화 (A Study on the Types of Career Values of Science Core School Students and their Longitudinal Change)

  • 이 연구는 과학중점고등학교 학생들에게서 나타나는 계열별 직업 가치관의 유형과 종단적 변화를 확인하기 위하여 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 위하여 11개 직업 가치관 문항을 포함한 직업가치관 검사도구를 사용하여 과학중점고등학교 학생 174명의 3차에 걸친 종단자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 과학중점고등학교 학생들의 직업가치관은 세 가지 유형으로 나타났다. 둘째, 과학중점고등학교 학생들의 직업가치관은 계열에 따른 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 과학중점고등학교 학생들의 상당수는 직업가치관은 측정 시점에 따라 거의 변화하지 않으며, 이들 중에는 직업가치관적 고려가 거의 없는 상태로 유지되기도 하였다. 그러나 이들과 혼재되어있는 전혀 다른 성향을 보여주는 집단인 직업가치관 급변 집단들도 함께 발견되었다. 본 연구결과는 학생들의 직업 가치관의 변화추세와 그에 따른 잠재집단 유형에 기반을 둔 맞춤형 진로교육의 필요성을 시사한다.

현장체험에 터한 u-PBL 교수지원시스템의 핵심가치 및 설계전략 연구 (Study of u-PBL Support System Core Value and Design Strategy based on Field Experience Learning)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract an u-PBL support system core value and design strategy based upon field experience learning. To accomplish this the study, first of all, analyzed the core values, design strategy which was selected after needs analysis and literature review of theories and cases regarding the PBL, e-PBL, blended-PBL, Field experience learning based on ubiquitous environment, and learning model based on ubiquitous technology. This study identified the three core values as; systemic support for instructional activity, just in time support for instructional activity and support for interaction facilitation. As further research areas, it might be useful to develop u-PBL instructional support system based upon the model designed from this study. Also, research concerning the verification of the model based upon implementation of the program case might be necessary.

A STUDY ON THE INTEGRATED APPROACH FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION

  • Character education is an important educational purpose in the current situation of secondary mathematics education. In the current mathematics curriculum, character education is mentioned in terms of core competencies. However, it is very difficult to concretely practice character education in secondary mathematics education. This paper examines the theoretical background of character education in the tradition of mathematics education, and suggests that mathematics is regarded as a practical tradition by the nature of mathematics from a value-intrinsic perspective. In this respect, mathematics education is defined as an intrinsic and nurturing character through long history of practice. This paper searched for an integrated approach to practicing character education in of secondary mathematics education, and argued that the teacher's personal approach including the class model approach of the human factors by an example of the exponential law aman = am+n and the value-oriented activities according to the nature of the mathematics was the core.

음식윤리 접근에 의한 식생활교육 효과 증진 (Food Ethics Approach Improves the Effectiveness of Dietary Education)

  • This study was performed to improve the effectiveness of dietary education using a food ethics approach. Dietary education is a way of practicing food ethics based on Korean culture. The core values of dietary education and the keywords related to food ethics can be combined into environment·life, health·wisdom, and consideration·happiness. Sustainable dietary life comprises the value system of dietary education based on core values. To reach the ultimate goal of food ethics-sustaining the survival of the human race, the coexistence of humans and nature, the coexistence of humans and humans, and the fulfillment of food requirements are needed. These needs yield certain core principles, including respect for life, environmental preservation, justice, the priority of consumers, dynamic equilibrium, and the priority of safety. The extended ethical matrix with six core principles and three interest groups can be used for an ethical analysis either qualitative or quantitative. It is believed that if food ethics are introduced into dietary education programs, the effectiveness of education can be improved.

한국의 가치문화 교육을 위한 광고 자료 선정 (The Study of Selecting Advertisement Materials for Korean Value System Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare educational contents and criteria for selecting advertisement materials by exploring the necessity of value system education in Korean culture education. Furthermore, the study aims to suggest advertisements that contain meaningful materials through the criteria among the public and commercial advertisements as of 2017. Advertisements have advantages in three aspects as they focus on current culture, cultural implications and the ease of teaching and learning. These advantages indicate the usefulness of advertisements in value education. Also, the research of Hofstede (2010), Kang (2007), and Kim et al. (2011) provide discussion regarding educational contents. Subsequently, the criteria for selecting advertisements are further developed as the main purpose of this study. The criterion are to consider the objectives of culture education, to take into account the learning situation, to find relevance between the contents of the advertisement and the contents for the value system education, and consider expressive methods of advertisements and extensibility to the activities. Next, advertisements were selected for core educational items and the list of 22 is presented according to the value system, educational contents and the criterion of the advertisements discussed in the above.

Comparison between Radiological and Invasive Diagnostic Modalities in Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

  • Background: Breast cancer is the most common cause of deaths of cancer in women. Nowadays, following completion of imaging methods, mainly fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) and core biopsy methods have been used for establishing cytopathological diagnosis although discussions regarding superiority continue. Materials and Methods: Those with a complaint of "mass in breast" along with those diagnosed to have a mass as a result of routine physical examination among all patients applying to our clinic between 01.01.2009 and 31.12.2011 were retrospectively assessed. Totals of 146 and 64 patients with complete radiological observation who had undergone FNAB and core biopsies, respectively, were evaluated. Postoperative pathological results of patients of both groups receiving surgery were also taken into consideration. All results were compared in terms of false positivity/negativity, sensitivity/specifity, surgery types and distribution of postoperative results with regard to diagnoses along with those of malignant/benign masses with regard to quadrants determined. Results: Diagnostic malignancy power of mammographic BIRADS classification was 87.3%. However, the value was 75% in the core biopsy group. Sensitivity and specifity following comparison of FNAB and postoperative pathology results of those receiving surgery were 85.4% and 92.9% while they were 93.5% and 100% in the core biopsy group. Diagnostic malignancy power, calculated by determining AUC in ROC analysis, of FNAB was 89.1% while that of core biopsy was 96.7%. Conclusions: It was shown that core biopsy is superior to FNAB in terms of sensitivity, specificity and accurate histopathological classification. However; quick, cheap and basic diagnosis by means of FNAB should not be ignored. Sensitivity of FNAB is rather high in experienced hands and furthermore it would be expected to be lower than with core biopsy.

과학기술특성화대학 핵심역량 검사도구의 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of a Measurement Scale for an Institute of Science & Technology Core Competencies)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a measurement scale of core competencies for one Institute of Science & Technology's students in South Korea. Based on the school's core value and mission, items were developed through document analysis, faculty survey, and experts' review. Initial sets of items were administered to students and results were analyzed to finalize the items for the scale, which consists of 4 core competencies (Creativity, Challenge, Collaboration, and Care) and 12 sub-competencies. Through reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis, 56 items were selected. For a validity test, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted. Results suggest that the measurement scale is reliable and valid in measuring core competencies of students in an Institute of Science & Technology.

약학 실무실습교육에서의 효과적인 피드백 (Providing Effective Feedback within Pharmacy Practice Education)

  • Experiential education is a core curriculum of pharmacy education. In experiential education, formative feedback is an integral component of learning and teaching process. Feedback is defined as information provided by a preceptor regarding student's performance based on direct observation. With effective feedback, students can have opportunities to reinforce or correct behaviors and to acquire knowledge or skills. Students highly value and appreciate feedback. They rank provision of effective feedback as one of the most important qualities of preceptors. Preceptors, however, lack an understanding of feedback or practical skills necessary for providing effective feedback. As a result in reality, the feedback provided to students can be differentially effective in improving students' learning. This article describes a theoretical understanding of feedback including definition and value, as well as types of feedback. In addition, practical aspects in providing feedback, such as contents, timing, techniques, and models, are addressed. By understanding the value of feedback and mastering various feedback skills, preceptors will promote students' learning and enhance educational outcomes of experiential education.

초등 예비교사의 창업가정신 교육에 대한 경험 및 태도와 창업가정신 핵심역량 분석 (Analysis of the Experiences and Attitudes of Elementary School Pre-service Teachers on Entrepreneurship Education and Core Competencies of Entrepreneurship)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 교원양성대학 재학생인 초등 예비교사의 창업가정신 교육에 대한 경험 및 태도와 창업가정신 핵심역량의 수준을 살펴보고, 학년과 성별, 그리고 창업가정신 교육에 대한 태도에 따른 창업가정신 핵심역량의 차이를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 온라인 설문에 응답한 초등 예비교사 208명을 대상으로 이들의 창업가정신 교육에 대한 경험, 태도, 인식, 창업 시도 및 창업가정신 핵심역량 수준을 조사하고 이에 따른 창업가정신 핵심역량 수준의 차이를 t-검정을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과 초등 예비교사들은 창업가정신 교육에 대해 이해 수준과 직접 참여 경험은 낮았으나 초등학생과 초등교사 대상의 창업가정신 교육의 필요성과 창업가정신 교육 및 창업에 대한 관심도는 높은 편이었다. 창업가정신 핵심역량군별로 나눠서 볼 때 초등 예비교사의 도전, 집단창의, 자기주도 역량군에 비해 혁신성, 사회적 가치지향, 변화민첩성으로 구성된 가치창출 역량군의 평균이 상대적으로 낮게 나왔다. 창업가정신 핵심역량 수준의 학년에 따른 차이는 유의하지 않았으며, 여학생의 역량 수준이 남학생보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 또한 초등교사가 갖추어야 할 필수역량으로서의 창업가정신 중요성을 인식하는 집단의 창업가정신 4대 핵심역량군의 평균이 상대 집단보다 통계적으로 높았고, 대학에서의 창업 관련 교육 참여를 희망하는 집단과 창업 시도 의향이 있는 집단의 가치창출과 도전 역량이 상대 집단보다 통계적으로 높았다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 초등 예비교사를 위한 창업가정신 역량 강화 프로그램의 설계 및 개발에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
