서울지역 대중음식점의 위생상태에 관한 미생물학적 조사연구 - 물수건, 냉면육수, 엽차를 중심으로 - (Survey on Bacteriological Contamination of Restaurants in Seoul Area)

  • This study was performed to investigate the sanitation of restaurants in Seoul Area. The subjects were 153 wet towels, 64 cold noodle soup and 190 barely tea. The results were as follows: In wet towels: The detected rate of standard plate counts was $86.9\%$ (133 samples) and average count was $1.8\times10^3/g$ $the detected rate of coliform was $37.9\%$ (58 samples) and average count by MPN method was $2.0\times10^3/100g$, the detected rate of fecal coliform was $15.7\%$ (24 samples) and average count by MPN method was $3.2\times10/100g$. In cold noodle soups: The detected rate of standard plate counts was $100\%$ (64 samples) and average count was $9.4\times10^5/ml$, the detected rate of coliform was $75\%$ (48 samples) and average count by MPN method was $6.0\times10^5/100ml$, the detected rate of fecal coliform was $51.6\%$ (33 samples) and average count by MPN method was $3.4\times10^3/100ml$. In barely tea: The detected rate of standard plate counts was $87.4\%$(166 samples) and average count was $5.8\times10^3/ml$the detected rate of coliform was $66.3\%$ (126 samples) and average count by MPN method was $3.9\times10^3/100ml$, the detected rate of fecal coliform was $32.6\%$ (62 samples) and average count was by MPN method was $4.7\times10/100ml$.

Statistical Analysis of Count Rate Data for On-line Seawater Radioactivity Monitoring

  • Background: It is very difficult to distinguish between a radioactive contamination source and background radiation from natural radionuclides in the marine environment by means of online monitoring system. The objective of this study was to investigate a statistical process for triggering abnormal level of count rate data measured from our on-line seawater radioactivity monitoring. Materials and Methods: Count rate data sets in time series were collected from 9 monitoring posts. All of the count rate data were measured every 15 minutes from the region of interest (ROI) for $^{137}Cs$ ($E_{\gamma}=661.6keV$) on the gamma-ray energy spectrum. The Shewhart ($3{\sigma}$), CUSUM, and Bayesian S-R control chart methods were evaluated and the comparative analysis of determination methods for count rate data was carried out in terms of the false positive incidence rate. All statistical algorithms were developed using R Programming by the authors. Results and Discussion: The $3{\sigma}$, CUSUM, and S-R analyses resulted in the average false positive incidence rate of $0.164{\pm}0.047%$, $0.064{\pm}0.0367%$, and $0.030{\pm}0.018%$, respectively. The S-R method has a lower value than that of the $3{\sigma}$ and CUSUM method, because the Bayesian S-R method use the information to evaluate a posterior distribution, even though the CUSUM control chart accumulate information from recent data points. As the result of comparison between net count rate and gross count rate measured in time series all the year at a monitoring post using the $3{\sigma}$ control charts, the two methods resulted in the false positive incidence rate of 0.142% and 0.219%, respectively. Conclusion: Bayesian S-R and CUSUM control charts are better suited for on-line seawater radioactivity monitoring with an count rate data in time series than $3{\sigma}$ control chart. However, it requires a continuous increasing trend to differentiate between a false positive and actual radioactive contamination. For the determination of count rate, the net count method is better than the gross count method because of relatively a small variation in the data points.

  • $Mn^{56}$ 방사성 물질을 이용하여 방사능 측정계수율에 따라 변화되는 한 가이가 검출기의 불감시간을 결정하는 방법을 탐구하였다. (equation omitted)는 이 검출기의 불감시간과 방사능 측정계수율과의 한 관계를 결정 할 수 있는 유용한 공식으로 생각되었다. 여기에서 (equation omitted)(N$_1$)는 방사능 측정계수율 N$_1$에 대한 불감시간이며 N$_1$은 첫 측정시각(이 시각을 0시로 잡는다)에서 방사능측정계수율이고 Nt는 첫 측정시각으로부터 t라는 시간후에 얻어진 계수율이며 λ는 방사능 붕괴상수이고 t는 두 측정시각의 시간차를 의미한다. 이 공식에 의하여 얻어진 불감시간에 따라 모든 방사능 측정자료를 교정하고 시간에 따른 그 계수율의 변화를 관찰한 결과 이미 보고된 $Mn^{56}$ 방사능 붕괴형식을 잘따르고 있음을 보여 주었다. 한편 이 공식을 이용한 결과를 보면 방사능 계수율 대 불감시간과의 관계로부터 얻은 불감시간은 방사능 측정계수율이 증가함에 따라 감소현상을 나타냈다.

계수율 증가에 따른 광증배관의 이득안정을 위한 궤환저항 효과에 관한 연구 (A study of feedback resister series effects for stabilizing the gain of the photomultiplier with counting rate increase)

  • The gain change of the photomultiplier which occurs as the count rate increased was examined. and simple feedback resistor series was introduced between 7th and 9th dynode for compensating the gain change. The effect of the feedback resistor series was considerably good to reduce the gain change. With the feedback resistor, the gain change was only 1.9%, when count rate was increased from 514 CPS (counts per second) to 1250 CPS. Without the feedback resister, the gain change was 6.9%, when the count rate was increased from 530 CPS to 1250 CPS.

  • An on-line monitoring system of endmill failure such as weal, chipping, and fracture is developed using AE, cutting force Characteristic variations of AE and cutting force signals due to endmill failure are identified as follows. When endmill fracture occurs, AE count rate shows a rapid Increase in conjunction with a subsequent decrease while a standard deviation of the principal cutting force Increases significantly. The increase of AE count rate precedes the Increase of standard deviation of principal cutting force. Chipping results in relatively small increase and decrease of AE count rate without any significant variation of the cutting force Gradual increase of AE count rate and mean principal cutting force are Identified to be related with the wear of cutter. A cutter fracture detection algorithm is developed based on the present results. The signals me normalized to enhance the applicability of the algorithm to Wide those of fresh cutters, and qualitative characteristics of AE signals encountered at the moment of fracture are employed. It is demonstrated that the algorithm can detect the cutter fracture successfully.

List Mode에서 PET/CT Scanner의 직선성 평가 (Linearity Estimation of PET/CT Scanner in List Mode Acquisition)

  • Rb-82를 이용한 PET 검사는 심근 관류의 임상적 평가에 중요한 역할을 한다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 PET/CT의 dead time 때문에 count value와 방사능농도 사이의 직선성이 유지되지 않는다면 데이터를 획득할 때 좌심실 입력 함수가 과대평가되어 심근관류가 과대평가될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 리스트 모드에서 획득한 PET data에서 방사능농도에 따른 count value의 직선성을 평가하였다. Biograph 40 True Point PET/CT를 이용하여 직경 12 cm, 길이 10.5 cm의 cylindrical phantom에 F-18 333 MBq과 물 800 mL를 채우고 7반감기동안 10min frame/bed로 리스트 모드를 이용하여 획득하였다. Raw data는 OSEM (order: 4, subsets: 8)과 FBP (Gaussian filter FWHM 5 mm) 알고리즘을 이용하여 재구성하였다. Sinogram 정보에서 prompt counts, net true counts, random counts를 측정하였다. 재구성 된 phantom 영상에 ROI를 설정하여 총 계수와 background를 측정하고 background correction을 사용하여 count value를 측정하여 직선성을 평가하였다. 리스트 모드를 이용하여 sinogram에서 측정된 prompt counts는 방사능농도에 비례하여 증가하였다. 낮은 방사능농도에서 net true counts와 random counts는 방사능농도에 따라 증가하였다. 높은 방사능농도에서는 net true counts의 증가율이 점차 감소되었고, 반면에 random counts의 증가율은 증가하였다. 그리고 OSEM과 FBP 알고리즘으로 재구성된 영상에서 측정한 count value의 차이는 없었고 방사능농도에 비례하여 count value가 증가하고 직선성이 유지되었다. Biograph 40 True Point PET/CT scanner는 재구성된 영상에서 낮은 방사능농도뿐만 아니라 높은 방사능농도(~416.25 kBq/mL)에서도 측정 된 count value와 방사능농도 사이의 직선성이 유지되는 것을 보여주었다. 따라서 실험에서 사용한 PET/CT scanner는 Rb-82, N-13, O-15, F-18을 이용한 heart dynamic PET study에서데이터의 정량적 분석에 유용할 것으로 판단된다.

  • In this paper, we devised a pulse rate detection system to provide basic clinical index of cold-hot diagnosis of oriental medicine. The system consists of pulse signal detection, respiration signal detection, electrocardiograph detection, A/D conversion and computer system parts. We define a pulse rate by a pulse count to the respiration period inspiration pulse rate by a pulse count to the inspiration period, and expiration pulse rate by a pulse count to the expiration period. The clinical experiments for normal Person to evaluate the pulse rate detection system show the pulse/respiration ratio of 4.30${\pm}$1.03, the pulse/inspiration ratio of 1.60${\pm}$0.32, the pulse/expiration ratio of 2.37${\pm}$0.75.

단속절삭에서 AE신호를 이용한 공구마멸의 감시 (Monitoring of Tool Wear using AE Signal in Interrupted cutting)

  • Characteristics of AE(Acoustic Emission) signal is related to cutting conditions, tool materials, and tool geometry in metal cutting. Relation between AE signal and tool wear was investigated experimentally. Experiment is carried out by interrupted cutting for SCM420 workpiece with TiN coating tool on HSS material. AE RMS voltage and count per event were increased according to tool wear. The major results are as follows : 1) AE RMS value is nearly constant as cutting speed changes, but is rapidly increase as feed rate increases. 2) AE RMS value and Count per Event increase as tool wear increases. 3) It is more effective to monitor tool wear by Incremental rate of AE RMS value than by Incremental rate of count per event.

보중익기탕(補中益氣湯)이 Lymphocyte와 CD4+ T cell에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Bojungikkitang on the immunosuppression induced by methotrexate in rats)

  • Introduction The effects of Bojungikkitang on the immunosuppression induced by methotrexate in rats were investigated in this experiment. The multiple parameters of immunity assessed in. each rats includes the rate of body weight loss, weight changes in thymus, spleen and axillary lymphnode. The number of lymphocyte and CD4+ T cell count in blood, thymus, spleen and axillary lymphnode were also measured. Methodology Male Sprague-Dawley rats were chosen as an experiment object and were divided into 3 groups by a random selection. Each group consisted 6 rats. The normal group didn't receive any treatment. The control group was administered methotrexate for 4 days. The sample group was administered with both Bojungikkitang and methotrexate for 4 days. The dosage of medication was 2cc/day, 1cc given at 10AM and another 1cc given at 5PM. Results The rate of body weight loss was significantly decreased in the sample group. The weight of thymus was significantly increased in the sample group while the weight of spleen did not show much increase. Blood CD4+ T cell count, thymus lymphocyte count, thymus CD4+ T cell count, spleen lymphocyte count, spleen CD4+ T cell count and axillary lymph node CD4+ T cell count were significantly increased in the sample group while blood lymphocyte count and axillary lymphnode lymphocyte count did not show much increase. Conclusion As one can witness from the above results, administration of Bojungikkitang played potent role in increasing immune system among the rats treated with methotrexate which induces immunosuppression. Overall increase of lymphocyte count and CD4+ T cell count in the sample group with Bojungikkitang effectively proves its ability to boost the immune system.
