This research aims at identifying through literature analysis the extent of past research related to the protection of personal information and privacy of library users. This study was conducted in 3 stages of literature analysis suggested by other researchers, including Powell (2005). First, I found and collected literature related to personal information and library user privacy. Second, I reviewed the collected literature and identified detailed subjects and core concepts. Third, I analyzed the core subjects, main discussion points, and related examples shown in those papers divided into 7 subgroups. I examine library privacy from various angles through literature analysis, and the results of this paper would be useful for establishing library privacy policies and developing guidelines for librarians.

This study suggests that English literature educators need to be eclectic and flexible in applying theories and methods, not simply adhering to one or two for all situations and occasions. They need to be available to go with the flow and particularly employ whatever is needed at any given moment of class time. There is a current trend emphasizing English literature as merely a language resource rather than the study of English literature as an end in itself. Without much attention given to literary analysis and criticism, students tend to lack creative and critical thinking abilities. Given the current imbalance, it would seem important to address the issue, and create English class programs that maintain a balance between teaching the study of English literature to improve students' critical thinking abilities, and its use as a language resource. To fulfill this goal, thorough preparation is required. Indeed, we can direct our intelligence more effectively when we are well prepared and we are familiar with the basic methods and mechanics of teaching our subject. The greatest achievement of the English literature class I taught was that the students showed unexpectedly remarkable creative and critical appreciation of the novel we studied, in addition to improving their English language skills.

The purpose of this study is to clarify that critical writing can be a positive stimulus factor for the cultivation of critical thinking through actual cases of writing education targeting engineering students in universities. Critical writing education is a very important way to develop critical thinking necessary for acquiring scientific knowledge, sharing social values, creativity and cultivating new production capacity. Especially, when critical writing education is performed with materials that maintain critical view of social reality such as the movie "Bowling for Columbine", it is characterized by the fact that it is naturally combined with the dimension of engineering ethics faced by engineers from the analysis and judgment of social reality. This is an example of the fact that critical thinking education for engineering students does not necessarily meet their major areas.

This paper describes the origins, evolution of Quality Function Deployment and its transfer to the West. Following a comprehensive review of the literature and how QFD has been defined, and applied, the paper analyses the critical factors which impinge on QFD implementation success. A discussion which covers the enabling criteria found to be inherent in Japanese applications is contrasted with the Western approaches documented hitherto. In particular the Company Wide Quality Control (CWQC) approach in Japan versus the emerging concept of Total Quality Management and their impact on QFD implementation. A critical analysis of the main differences isolated from the review of the literature and which characterise the Japanese method of QFD implementation which is leading, and The Western approaches which appear to be lagging is included in the paper, together with some useful conclusions:

복잡계 과학의 발달에 따라 많은 사회 네트워크들이 분석되고 있다. 사회 네트워크는 현재 인문, 경제, 웹 사이언스 등 다양한 분야에 응용되고 있다. 최근, 소설의 등장인물을 이용한 네트워크와 실제 사회 네트워크의 특성을 비교하는 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 등장인물 네트워크는 대부분 미리 정리된 인명사전을 이용하므로 주요한 몇몇 인물들 사이의 연관성은 밝힐 수 있으나, 한번 이상 등장한 모든 인물의 전체적인 사회적 구조는 설명하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소설로부터 등장인물을 직접 추출하고, 등장인물 사이의 거리를 사용하여 상관관계를 설정하여 네트워크를 구축한다. 제안방법은 소설 텍스트로부터 등장인물의 출현빈도와 등장인물들 사이의 연관성의 발생 빈도를 이용하여 연관성 가중치를 구할 수 있으며, 이 연관성 가중치를 사용하여 노드의 수를 조절하여 K-critical 네트워크를 구성한다. 제시한 K-critical 네트워크는 분석대상 소설에 등장하는 인물들끼리 얼마나 긴밀하게 연관되어 있는지를 정량적으로 파악하는 매우 중요한 정보를 줄 수 있음을 실험을 통하여 제시할 수 있었다.

The main purpose of this paper is to take a look at a controversial approach to critical discourse analysis for the suggestion of a well-balanced perspective on such a biased presupposition and methodology. Currently linguists, language teachers and even social scientists have shown their strong interests in critical language awareness and its ideological involvements in order to encourage the general public to realize the social function of language in all modes of communication. It seems, however, to me to be increasingly clear that critical language study calls for a careful attempt based on an appropriate combination of textual facts and contextual factors in the interpretation of discourses. From this point, of view, this paper suggests some pedagogic / analytical guidelines for a study on language and its social connotations as a result of examining the cogency of two contrasting argumentations in relation to critical discourse analysis.

본 연구는 비판적 수학교육의 관점에서 수학교과서를 분석하기 위한 분석준거 개발을 목표로 하여 이루어졌다. 이를 위한 첫 단계로서 비판적 수학교육의 이론적 근간이 되는 비판 이론과 비판적 교육이론에 대한 문헌분석을 통해 비판적 수학교육의 철학적, 인식론적 기저를 고찰하였다. 또한 비판적 수학교육에 대한 국내외 문헌을 분석하여 비판적 수학교육의 개념화 논의, 실제 수업사례 등을 종합하여 '비판적 수학교육 관점에 따른 수학교과서 분석준거 안'을 구성하였다. 이후 제시한 준거 안에 대한 타당도를 검증하기 위해 전문가 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 델파이 조사 분석 결과에 따라 제시한 준거 안을 수정, 보완하여 '고전적 지식', '공동체적 지식', '대화적 지식', '정치적 지식' 네 범주로 이루어진 '비판적 수학교육의 관점에 따른 수학교과서 분석준거'를 최종적으로 개발하였다.

This study aims to probe for ideological construction within the linguistic structure of newspaper reporting. The study focuses on news reports relating the issue of new IOC chairman election in English version of four mainstream newspaper published in Korea: The Donga Daily News, The Jungang Daily News, The Chosun Daily News, and The Korea Times. The analysis of these reports adheres to the analytic paradigm of critical linguistic analysis and shows how the newspaper articulate conflicting ideological positions in their reports of new IOC chairman election. The analysis demonstrates how the event of new IOC chairman election is naturalized in racist accounts. This study is important for understanding the constructive nature of language practices. The study concludes with a discussion to explain the need for critical awareness in choosing right teaching material, considering that news reports are widely accepted as an authentic material for English education.

Purpose: This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review to suitably identify wide and specific issues and topics on service quality in supply chain. Methods: This study is to investigate service quality in supply chain research using a systematic literature review methodology. In order to extract influential journals and papers, we used the SJR impact factor provided by the SCOPUS database. The collected 169 papers were analyzed using bibliometric analysis, citation analysis as well as keywords network. Results: We conducted a bibliometric analysis to identify top authors contributing to service quality in supply chain and their issues, and further examined important keywords and new emerging keywords. In addition, we extracted five influential papers by PageRank to clarify critical issues and divided into five clusters to identify topics of service quality in supply chain by using network-based approach. In order to examine comprehensive issues and topics of service quality in supply chain, we constructed a keyword network to observe difference in the classification of important keywords across network centrality measures. Conclusion: Our study reviewed literature on service quality in supply chain and explored the future directions and trends of service quality in supply chain.

The turning point is one of the more evocative concepts in the critic's arsenal, as it is equally suited to the evaluation and analysis of a given moment in one's day as to those of a historical event. But how does one recognize a turning point? As we find ourselves always "in the middest," both spatially and temporally, we inhabit sites that may be points at which many things may be seen to turn. Indeed, it is usually only possible to identify a turning point, as it were, from a distance, from the remove of space and time which allows for a sense of recognition, based in part on original context and in part of perceived effects. In this article, Robert T. Tally Jr. argues that the apprehension and interpretation of a turning point involves a fundamentally critical activity. Examining three models by which to understand the concept of the turning point-the swerve, the trope, and peripety (or the dialectical reversal)-Tally demonstrates how each represents a different way of seeing the turning point and its effects. Thus, the swerve is associated with a point of departure for a critical project; the trope is connected to continuous and sustained critical activity in the moment, and peripety enables a retrospective vision that, in turn, inform future research. Tally argues for the significance of the turning point in literary and cultural theory, and concludes that the identification, analysis, and interpretation of turning points is crucial to the project of criticism today.
